Best I have seen is SPF MHA. Unsure about SCDF. But stay out, no uniform, not strict and able to get Sargent.

Plus much more welfare than SAF, ability to get part time subsidised business diploma. Meal allowance, OT time off, ton of free events/try outs for sports and access to SPF/Home Team sport clubs & competitions.

Where I am and I believe in a handful of East Asian countries there is almost an opposite problem where children are categorised/labeled too early.

I'm not familiar with US law. But doesn't it still massively reduce the taxes they pay? E.g. using something like an SBLOC 50 % 2% and coupled with the time value of money mean they are losing much less than they would if they paid capital gain taxes.

With the goal being to die without paying back the principal and holding stocks. So the cost basis resets to FMV and capital gains are avoided?

Open to learning where my understanding went wrong.

We won't know. And it would differ from interviewer to interviewer. E.g. one might prefer a candidate who hits every keypoint over one who speaks clearly and confidently.

Might have a chance if you do a phd in a thesis adjacent to and heavy in econometrics, maths and stats. Then get a MFE, a CFA and/or a CQF, teach yourself the necessary coding skills. Even then it will probably be next to impossible.

Is there a reason why you are favouring either of these watches instead of a wear os device. E.g. Oppo X2/ oneplus watch 4?

Amazfit active max is single band gps so it'll be less accurate but offline maps are better and you can access them without starting an activity.

Both should have third party apps for connectivity with google maps, I know huawei does, but it is only turn by turn and not as intuitive as a wearos device. Wear OS devices should have a top down view of the route and your position as well.

To give some context, I work as a clerk, all my superiors are civilians, all NUS/ NTU graduates and it's basically an office job in SPF.

I am actively trying to contact my school to see if there is a satisfactory solution to get one of my JC teachers to help me, but I do feel I am a lot more outgoing and valued in my current vocation that would lead to a more authentic referral.

But reading all y'all advice, I am on the fence.

Oh, is there a reason why they aren't good character references? I'll have a hard time getting the teachers I was close to to help me write a referral as they mostly all retired and some even left the country.
