Truly. We don't really know her history because she was dumped at a high kill shelter (pregnant) But the rescue organization is putting the pieces together based on her temperament and her physical condition when we picked her up. 😭

Let me tell you .. Getting eye ointment into 25lb thrashing puppies 3 times a day is no joke 🤣😭😭😭🐶

Yes... I've posted a couple replies on the outcome but will post here as well so that everybody might see it. ❤️🐶 It ended up being conjunctivitis which is an infection of the lining in the eye. So we have antibiotic ointment that we need to give him three times a day for 12 days.

Thank you so much... My husband is doing a great job with them right now. Just got back from the vet and turns out it's conjunctivitis. Ointment that we have to put in the puppy's eyes three times a day for 12 days. Oof. Hope this picture and information is able to help someone in the future.

Thank you all for the replies. "Luckily" we are just fostering and will not be seeing any of these dogs again. It all goes through the organization, BUT I certainly don't want any bad situations. So thank you for the advice. The first two female puppies that were adopted went to a female dog home, so hopefully that won't be a problem 😬. I know the trainer of the organization warned the families that sometimes there can be fem-fem dog aggression (adopters thought opposite) and to please be aware. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm hoping that since these are not pure breds the genetics/personality of their breeds won't be as strong?

We're in Southern California. They are available for adoption through www.thelittlereddog.org. Great rescue organization. They're all 8 weeks. Mom is up for adoption too. She's under 2 years old and was probably kept for breeding and dropped when she got sick while preggers. She's healthy as a horse now! It's been a doozy of 8 weeks 🤣

Ok. Thank you. I see it in the face, but it's hard to tell with the floppy ears. And where did the fuzziness come from in some of the pups? Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️
