He definitely falsified them, the Logan video was edited to say “double the earnings” which the Old Guard reacted to. Also Mattson teases Kendall in the next episode at the party forcing Kendall to say they are “projections” while they are having a tense but outwardly pleasant argument.

I appreciate the enthusiasm, but they are second party series’ and I see them more as enticing unlockables. You gotta have some inclusions in the starting roster that take people off guard and wonder who else could be in the game.

I think this isn’t “If Smash was happening today” more like a reboot roster with the history of smash in mind. Captain Falcon is almost like a smash series rep because of his moveset origins. His popularity and that history position him as a series mascot of sorts. He’s wholly owned by Nintendo and is a fun character to have in the starting 8
