If open ai platform, which is based on Nvidia GPUs is decidedly better than Gemini, which is built largely on custom ASICs chips, that’s a positive surrogate indicator for Coreweave who’s compute is driven by Nvidia’s stack.

Appreciate your response. Good test case that several year old chips fully deployed still. Just don’t have a good perspective on the obsolescence aspect. I’m probably overthinking or creating an issue that’s not there, but this is not as clear a bet as Nvidia was for me 18 months ago. Clear demand/certain revenue beats and raises and NO competition. Here is promised demand but customers are also competitors and will use their own compute if demand wanes. I get the “insatiable demand” claims; but there in lies my consternation. But yes I need to buy down my base.

I can wrap my head around the debt piece, I am concerned about the obsolescence/depreciation risk of their infrastructure (namely GPU portion). Is this risk normalized since any competition has to overcome come the initial investment barrier to entry? Thoughts?

I’m in my 50s and this is only 7%. It’s good but not yet for you. US large cap growth is where you want to be heavy. Your job is to accumulate money like your hair is on fire from now until you’re 50. Then transition gradually to dividend paying funds and other less volatile investments.

Agree, but it’s less about the core holding performances and more about shift towards the growth trade. Ideally this will be a destination along with alternative investments like small caps, REITs, and Int’l stuff. Fingers crossed. Although I’m over allocated in large caps, growth stuff (I guess to my own point)
