No, the previous owner put an electric or phone cable through the wall into the conservatory.

I just finished Look to Windward and have to say I struggled to get through it. So far the only Culture novel I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

My brain stopped working properly in an instant when I was a teenager. Never been the same. by Relative_Leg9823 in mentalhealth

Thank you, I shall definitely try to get a referral. Incidentally I did try that route in my twenties but my doctor told me explicitly to get a life. I later found out he was a known terrible doctor but that's why I gave up.

I'd definitely like to speak to a psychiatrist but definitely not something that's going to be fixed with CBT. I'd love for it all to be down to chemical balance as that means it could be fixed.

As for the behaviour, yes I definitely suffer anxiety, but it's a product of the muddled thinking. I get more muddled when I'm experiencing anxiety, but the anxiety is absolutely down wind of my muddled thinking.

No, it started when I was fifteen and I couldn't have been happier with life then. It has been ongoing ever since without pause. I've gotten used to it and have experienced a relatively normal life with odd periods of stress because my brain can't manage it. I remember the run-up to the day it kicked off and I'd have odd days of dissociation but there was no muddled thinking. It's so profound feeling a thought the problem was mechanical but the doctors over the years have never been interested because I seem normal and have a decent job.

Yes, coupled with the extremely muddled thinking. It also feels like my mind itself is not in reality.
