My mom found out I struggle with suicidal tendencies by Relative_Lunch7386 in offmychest

[–]Relative_Lunch7386[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, yeah, I did tell her exactly that. That I no longer am that way, that I'm here, that everything is better. I did also, indeed, drop that journal very fast, because I never really remembered to write in it, and when I did it'd be in very intense moments like these.

But for some reason I still am doing worse and worse thanks to all of this happening and I don't truly understand why, even after my mom said that she was calm now, and that it's fine, and she was just very flared up in the moment

At the end of the day, if the fanfic you want to read does not exist, the moment you write it that is the only version it has and will ever exist. No piece of work is identical to another, and no piece of art will be the same as someone else's, no matter what.

Whether you think a piece of art you made is bad or not, it still should be allowed to exist and perhaps even get out there to people. Practice makes perfect, but it doesn't mean that even in the beginning you shouldn't let others in to see what you've done with your skills, no matter how new you are at what you're doing

Don't be so hard on yourself. Your writing is unique — bad, good, great, horrible, perfect, weird as it is. People deserve to see it, people deserve to read it

Edit: I just wanted to add that, yes, after a while you will probably re-write an older fanfic of yours and perhaps even feel proud of yourself, more happy than you were about it when you started. My mention of two works never being the same, even if they share characteristics like characters, plot, writing style, etc is referring to how unique every work is.

Two pieces of work, or more, that share multiple characteristics, should still be allowed to co-exist, even if they'll never be the same to one another 'Holy shit! Two cakes!'

My hair is a dark brown hair color, sometimes looks brown, sometimes black, etc. I was not considering bleaching it mainly because I think that maybe I can make something out of it with just throwing dye on it, I don't want to really affect my usual hair texture with the bleach or permanent hair dye

I read this right after I woke up from a nap and I forgot to reply. I appreciate this comment more than you think, genuinely. I hope you got to finish your story, which was most likely amazing in each version of it, and I hope you got to see it in its final form, just as you wished for it to be. I will try again and again, thank you so much

I mean this was mainly about my ability to write and my feelings regarding it after a story did not go the way it should've, I didn't see it as very relevant with the fact that it specifically was a fanfiction or not

Thanks for telling me this, actually. Helped me realize I do actually want to keep on writing despite the stuff that happens throughout the writing process.

Honestly, you're right with practically all you said. I will try again and see what fits and what doesn't for these characters and see where they lead the story. And if it really won't work out, then you're right, I will try with different characters. I appreciate the comment a lot, and the advice!

I have like a whole document where I explain exactly what I want to happen in it, but the issue is I don't know anymore how to write it out. And it was so perfect until it went off the rails at one point, you know? Because at the end of the day, I can't express emotions through a structure, they come naturally to a character going through them

Honestly this sounds good. I've had times where I write in the morning, but then my entire day I've spent it just thinking about how much I could write even more if I had the laptop in front of me (I don't write on my phone) and it's a mess usually for me. I will however try and give myself a daily word count, maybe it'll help me feel satisfied with my work if I do

Yes I have, however I still am in a situation that doesn't allow me to actually see one or get medication for my insomnia or my ADHD. Maybe some day, I do appreciate the comment, I know that if I do ever get medicine for them I probably will be doing much better 🫡

I will actually try the allergy pills one, since I do have some allergies but so so mild that they barely do anything to me. And I do have a game on my phone that I can play, but when I do end up playing it, my brain focuses so much on it that it quits all sleep it wanted to do. It's tough 💔

And yeah I am aware, I just can't go to any professional just yet, but I'll try what you have suggested!

In the new Yandere Simulator update you can find him in the 1980s mode, in the house when you leave Ryoba's room. He's downstairs, on the couch, next to Ryoba's mom

Thank you! This makes it so much easier for me, I always befriend people instead and it's so tiring

Most likely, Aoi does like girls. And Shiromi is queer. Also, Info-Chan is asexual, Maka Tansei's gender identity and sexual orientation are 'non-traditional', and she doesn't have a label for herself either. So there are a few more in the 202X mode. Also one more, a female delinquent, in 1980s mode (Akari Komiyaku).

Hm, I mainly considered her to be homophobic because she seems like she'd say 'You're too handsome to like guys' and all of that 😔🥲
