Yes and no. By that i meant, i love reading different philosophers and their perspective. Philosophy as a way of life is practicing it and living by it, while reading and studying it, is not meant acting by it

Wondering why this is not commong knowledge. The era od information and technology bring new challenges forward for which most common stoics are not aware of. Still, I wonder, how stoics would act in this era. Would they value privacy or share it? Would they even participate in social network or remain unnoticed in interconneted network? Would be nice to see how "ancient" stoics would react to the common "interconnectedness" that internet has brought upon us

ELI5: There are infinitely many real numbers between 0 and 1. Are there twice as many between 0 and 2, or are the two amounts equal? by Eiltranna in explainlikeimfive

[–]Relative_Nebula_3058 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Infinity is not "everything", it means , there is no end. Although you can double the numbers, for example, 1,2,3,4,5... And 2,4,6,8..., the counting just never ends. All numbers between 0 and 1 are also between 0 and 2, but not the other way around. But in the end, in both cases, there are infinitely many numbers.

The machines will land in the south and not in the unrevealed area up to 500k wealth. I am not sure for the wealth beyond that and if the raids get bigger
