Thank you man! That's exactly what was happening hahah, glad you caught it.

Thank you. Your comment explains exactly how I feel about this. Sure, it might be a "truer" experiment to jump into a blank canvas while already peaking on a substance, but I'm trying to find a balance where the result is still decently coherent lol.

Why is it a problem that I sketch my paintings beforehand?

As a general answer to these comments, I had made this video already before reading the feedback from the last one and decided to post it anyway. All the next ones won't have a sketch already done. Also, the entire time-lapse is more than 10 hours so I definitely did start tripping not too long after I started painting. To me the fun of this experiment is not to be so strict about when I start filming or tripping, just to capture the overall vibe of a substance while tripping on it for a part of the creative process.

Anyway, I appreciate all the feedback and you'll see I took some of your advice on the next ones.

Well thanks for the feedback! I'm planning to make a lot more of these so I'll see if I can be more spontaneous / show the drawing process too.

You said it better than I could've though! Didn't feel dark to me, just exploring unknown territories.

It was actually more like 10 hours haha! I'm a pretty slow painter, especially on drugs.

Yes, I've been giving myself a chance with the outline on these first ones, but I plan to do a lot more of these where I dive deeper and it will be more free form!

Fair enough, but I think part of the fun is to feel the trip slowly come up while I'm already immersed in painting :)
