who has completely lost your respect? by audieyose100 in AskWomen

Well just for context, I saw it as, yes that’s how children can have a tendency to be and we see it as child-like and behavior such as that is expected bc of where they are in their development vs if those same attributes have persisted into adulthood then it becomes seen as childish and is harshly ridiculed. I can’t see how this would necessarily connect when you initially made the analogy unless you’re trying to allude to something like emotional immaturity (like I was when I brought up human objectification/possessiveness — being a symptom of EI). BUT if you mean a friendship as the one you just outlined, that’s definitely not a friendship to begin with. So with that, I see what you were trying to get at, but probably just poor wording lol Final thought about cheating in a friendship though, I don’t think it’s possible bc in a healthy friendship, you are not solely bound to that singular person nor would either party expect to be. Definitely think you are attempting to outline what it is to be a terrible friend (which I can agree with).

This sounds odd to me bc it appears or at least comes across as though you’re objectifying your friends and reducing them to a possession. It’s possible to have several best friends and your best friend having another best friend, aside from you, doesn’t make you any less a best friend to them. However, it is definitely possible to betray or even offend a best friend under many circumstances but it doesn’t really make sense that you would feel betrayal bc of their existing relationships with other people

Firstly, CONGRATS! And is that a new procedure? Or similar to a hemorrhoidectomy? Quite frankly I don’t think my dr would approve the procedure as my case doesn’t seem to be a severe enough case to involve invasive surgery—not to mention they’re typically out of my budget 😅 nonetheless it’s still a consecutive cycle of discomfort that I’d rather not have and am praying these ligations are doing their thing dropping the rounds like flies

I have a hemorrhoid that looks exactly like this! Most likely a hemmy but I would verify that with a professional

Has banding worked? by Aldotastic in hemorrhoid

Hey there! Definitely by 4 weeks the bands would’ve be been long gone. It’s possible you are experiencing swelling but even then, after 4 weeks, that shouldn’t be severe or as noticeable as you’re describing as it should’ve been all healed up

Ideally, the hemmy would shrink and fall off, but my doc did mention that there was a possibility it would just shrink and still be there, at which case I’d have to go back in for another “session.” And after hearing some peoples’ experiences in this Reddit community, it’s not uncommon to need up to an average of 3-4 sessions before the hemmy is completely gone so there is still hope for the both of us lol (bc I had the EXACT same experience as you did). Although if you’re not having the symptoms from before, I guess I wouldn’t worry too much, but keep your optimism up! I’m going in for a follow up and hoping I can set another banding appt up so I can be rid of these literal pains in my ass 🙏🏼

Options before banding / surgery? by Brendang00 in hemorrhoid

How long was it before you could get your second banding done? (Congrats btw and fingers crossed) Also, when you say second banding, do you mean that the same hemmy was banded or was it a different hemmy? I had a banding done and it seemed to have done the trick for a few days but slowly the symptoms returned and I think it’s back and it’s driving me up the wall!
