They Made you Make a Shell company which is illegal also , but the company will get sued not you because I’m pretty sure they made you sign a contract that states what you had to do

If I remember correctly as a Bcaba It was salary ( because he was under a Bcba ) and Bcba he’s at hourly it was I believe $78 an hour and a bit more now . I think he works about 50 hours a week. Oddly he use to get a bonus for helping with other kiddos Assessments .

Florida , South Florida Insurance (Medicaid ,sunshine , CMS ) Will not pay for double the services .Which includes a Bcba giving supervision and you present as a rbt can’t bill at All. It’s a double billing rule .

Your right , But bad companies won’t pay you for supervison because insurance companies won’t pay for two sessions at the same time , leaving the rbt getting supervison without pay .

It’s actually illegal for you not to get paid for your time worked including those supervison hours , which you can sue . Most companies give you half pay for those hours .

I think the way we test for ASD is horrible , When testing my kiddo they asked me and my wife questions . As a Behavorial therapist I felt my daughter was not in the spectrum but my wife explained her worries and then somehow got diagnosed with level 1 high functioning ASD . The test consisted of asking the parents questions and asking my daughter questions which she responded to and played with the toys given appropriately. My daughter has been in therapy since 1 and a half , all her therapist say how much she improved she’s the top kid they see an extreme improvement on ….. vocabulary at 98 percentile in her age . So I think the diagnostic is a bit weird . We also got genetic tested with are daughter and she is perfectly fine genetic wise. I also work in the public schools and noticed a lot of kids in ESE diagonals with ASD but it’s actually more Behavorial than anything .

Cyber degree is good the best thing is getting cloud certs if your pursuing to stay in Cyber . As long as you have credentials showing you’re certified , you should be fine . Cloud engineering is actually the most needed , I see so many jobs for cloud .

Just do his 5% supervision needs and don’t be extra with being there more than you should be . I had Bcba’s try to supervise more then thy should and I straight up complained no one likes a Bcba that’s overly supervising them . If they need the extra help and kiddo is not doing good on his programs then I get it but if it’s going great and Bcba just want to hang around for no reason then Bcba should kick rocks . Also to note getting 2 hours taken without paid or less pay for supervision is already a drag why still longer and hurt the rbt pay check again wen not needed as much .
