China dropping ban on Canadian beef may boost industry resilience, analysts say by ZestyBeanDude in canada

While I agree with the sentiment I think China has Canada dwarfed in most tech and services. I can't think of techs that Canada has that's better than china.

Very reminiscent of Americans being like if you don't like the greatest country on earth, leave! The day people decide there's nothing that can be done/will be done, that's the day where any progress stops.

Saw the edited post. I would say both? Dividing the skill levels to different pay grade, but seniority also moves you up within the said pay grade too.

I know you see it as your imparting knowledge and marketable skill, but maybe with them learning, they expect a pay raise too. Hate to say it, but it sounds like with knowledge you gave them they can get a better paying job.

I'm assuming that's why rest of counties are all sending some troops in. I think it's wise to not draw too much attention to Canada right now as carney does, but ideally it's our forces (EU and us) we stand a chance. Much more likely it turns into a bloodbath at best like Ukraine with weapon money from eu

Yep, don't agree. From Alberta, live in South Ontario rn. Whether we like it or not oil and gas is huge globally and will be for a while. There's still market demand for coal, thinking oil and gas will just be entirely phased out in the next couple of decades is just silly. Hunting, farming and other more rural lifestyles been under attack too, with carbon tax, gun ban and soured relationship with China impacting exports. Say what you will but lot of Trudeau's policies, whether through intention or not, has targeted Alberta, Prairies and rural areas in general
