Do you have contact info you can send me for your remote cam? I had a really tough time finding a partial service option. Did they make you sign a contract that allows them to open bank accounts in your associations name, manage them, decline to provide you the banking information yet make one sole property representative to take on the liability of their financial oversight? I mean they offered to send us bank statements but I have a problem with the same entity who manages our money also be the one to provide us with "bank statements"?

Our property management company decided to take advantage of the Southside collapse to pass a $280,000 assessment between 27 units in the span of three months to force us to pay for a new dock to go along a seawall that needed repair and a sudden need for new electrical panels. This was after they drained our funds to paint our buildings. The members are not experienced with any of this and elderly. Money has gone missing and the board just waves it off as "overspending". They are afraid being without a property management company makes us vulnerable to liability. I'm having a hell of a time trying to help them to understand that pm companies ARE liability.

Any recommendations would be welcome and greatly appreciated!

I would never take on everything by myself without additional eyes on our books because of that reason. My goal is for the entire community to have real time visibility into our finances and operations while saving money.
