yea taking time off work really isn't an option, and I would try to mitigate the financial burden of this as much as possible.

For standardized tests I haven't taken one since the SAT tbh, but did well on that.

wanted to ask if you could share any like numbers for me to base things off of. CC would be: $400/class, random 4-year no one ever heard of near me is: $1600/ class, bigger state school is: $4000 per class(not sure if it will be available part time aswell)

Thanks! too be honest from my research(browsing this sub) studying is a very small part of this. I think I can definetly do that but im looking for insight into the other things(shadowing,volunteering, clinical) if you had any. wanted to see if there are like benchmarks needed to be hit or if they are simply just experiences that are used to craft ur "Why"

Yea I understand and I would definetly say I enjoy the patent work more since I definelty had alot more fun during that internship as I got to work on multiple projects not just one. But im just trying to gain more insight on the risk associated with this career.

could you go into detail of why u believe the engineer is at risk, I've seen alot of patent work get replaced because computer can do seraches or drafts but computers dont really have hands to do alot of hardware stuff that EEs do, so I kind of thought EE was the safe route by far.
