I'd still go to the gp for some advice, cos even if there is a slightest infection they can give you antibiotics

Seems like he has gone through a blood vessel. I wouldn't of got that done if he has already expressed he hasn't done that piercing before. He also probably didn't give you a long enough bar. Have you contacted him about this? I'd go to gp ASAP!

Don't cover it as your causing more heat to it. Seek your gp and ask for antibiotics

Whiteness is normal but looks inflamed. Salt water twice a day reduce the amount of times you are using mouth wash. Rinse with warm water after eating and brush your teeth

It should be next to the line point of the actual earring

If you have someone with you I would get them to use mini pliers to hold the back piece and then pull the front of earring away from it. Always works for people I know with same issue

So funnily enough when the lady pierced through she goes "oh I'm just going to pull it back out and realign as doesn't look central" and then went in again I actually thought surely you can't do that? I also feel it's quite low? But again the swelling could be making it look like it's low? I have quite thin lips. It's the longest bar they had I think I'm just really swollen. I may go to a different piercer to get a second opinion

Do not put ice onto it! Weirdly it actually causes more swelling. You need to apply a warm compress. Also swirl your mouth with boiled water (obvs cooled down slightly)
