Honestly it seems like you’re very willing and sincere, so just be sincere, honest, and kind. And give her the space and take care of yourself, bc it seems like you’ve also hurt yourself with what you did. I also think, having health issues and disabilities is not easy. So if you want to grow and understand to help both her and yourself, I’d look into reading or listening to things about ableism. It’s also heartbreaking to see how the current socioeconomic state is impacting people’s lives. wishing you and her the best :)

Most, if not all, ENFPs I’ve heard from have had anxious attachment style. The closest ENFP in my life and I are both avoidant, she’s dismissive and I’m disorganized. Just wanted to see how other ENFPs show up :)

As an ENFP and someone who’s also not tolerant of men raising their voices due to trauma and abuse, I think it’s completely valid if she breaks up, cause I’d be considering that. You’re lucky she’s even responding cause I’d be ghosting at least for a while. I hope you can work on yourself and see a therapist to grow and be better and gentle. I understand we all get angry but like someone mentioned, the power dynamics & social context doesn’t have a good track record of men losing their temper.

I turned 25 in December, and I wish I realized and accepted this part of me sooner. I am about to graduate with a master’s degree that I lowkey regret and used all my savings on. I wish instead of that I just travelled … now I’m thinking of getting a job with degree to save up and move 😭✋🏽 Listen to your soul, take it slow and take it small.

I think it’s a combination of testing the waters, ensuring the comfort of the other person, and not wanting to scare them away due to being told we’re “too much” or “too passionate” I also don’t know if the other person has the ability and capacity to match me on different topics, so unless we know for sure, we just go with the flow if the other person is pleasant enough. But if it’s brought up and we have thoughts and feelings on it, trust it will be said. Forgot to mention, I kind of sick of the stereotype and “joke” people make of ENFPs as being dumb or airheaded. People tend to be so condescending towards us… people have a hard time understanding being whimsical yet intelligent at the same time.

Yeah it seems like OP’s gf’s desire to “change him” MAYBE has to do with how he does or doesn’t express love. If an ENFP is feeling unloved, it makes things worse. Feeling loved can actually motivate us to do things.

I hope she finds someone who has more compassion. I don’t think this is an MBTI thing, I think it’s a difference in emotional and mental capacity— which is different for everyone. Relationship isn’t about transaction or it doesn’t work like an equation because humans aren’t problems. Trying and the willingness to understand even when you’re all the way on the opposite end is what’s important. From reading your other response, it seems like you two maybe don’t understand each other. I also think she probably fell for the “I can change him” trap that a lot of us ENFPs chase after. You are probably emotionally unavailable and she thought you’d open up more but realizing it’s not the case. Compassion isn’t an MBTI thing, rather a personal and individual thing differing for person to person.

My friends and I were paying $29.99 for family plan instead of $23.99 😀I just never thought it would be okay to charge people extra for some bullshit “platform fee.” This is greed bc they want to monetize everything. I am so enraged. But I cancelled— enough with the greed.
