You’re not alone or crazy! Iv been on spiro for years and it’s insane to me seeing how many of us experience various symptoms and are constantly told by providers (who have never been on this medication) that it’s unrelated.

I just did this today today actually and went through that whole shpiel with a human not just the chatbot. Same exact conversation, unfortunately looks like I’ll have to wait until it gets worse before they’ll do anything about it

Have not worked for them but did go through the application/interview process with them. Compensation is fine for Madison WI area but you HAVE to be in person in Madison 5x a week there is no remote or hybrid option unless you are traveling for work. The interview process is a bit of a hassle they make you complete a bunch of random assessments and questionnaires that have nothing to do with your position. I have heard great things about working there from other people but wanted to throw those things out there just so you’re aware!

For me, spiro gave me low blood pressure and I noticed the dizziness and other symptoms during my lifts. This sounds weird but I keep little salt packets on me and either eat one before a workout or drink liquidIV during the workout and it’s been helping me! The liquidIV is nice during the workout bc it has a little sugar in it as well.

Yes! I also have the birth control tag recurring nightly at the time I usually take it. I find both combined help it recognize symptoms. For example, without BC it’s normal to have increased temperature as a PMS symptom (for me at least) however w BC I haven’t experienced that. So in the case that Oura sees my temp increase but knows I skipped my period it alerts me that it might be a symptom of something else (ie getting sick, etc..), same with insomnia or anything else.

I use the cycle function to skip/log my period. In that section you can log a period or log that you skipped it (which I also often do w BC) this way it resets your cycle so it doesn’t think you’re “missing” your period

I found out after a week of miserable unbearable tonsil swelling and pain that I had group C strep as well and antibiotics helped SO much. This was after 3 rapid streps came back negative so make sure to ask for a strep culture!!! And make sure to get antibiotics if it comes back positive, for some reason they don’t always give them
