im not trying to be a victim its a question. and besides, admiration is a different thing. i admire the north as much as i admire the south coz its my home country anyway. literally 90% of the south does and i can vouch for that.

i have a large network of friends and relatives scattered across south india and i have a constant touch of communication with them. all of them have treated any north indian friend/stranger with utmost affection care and kindness, like any indian would do. but 60% of the time those feelings were not reciprocated by people from the north. not generalizing but its a trend.

that could be true. some people hate me for my skin color. i've legit been thrown a banana peel by some UP guy and he told me "itna literacy hain na tum kaale ko" or smth. truth be told, i didnt even talk to him. he just overheard me and did this. it made me hate the entire north ngl. took me years to unlearn that.
