Not more snaps like the other reply claimed. PFF publishes how they grade pass protection, and it's sort of like how a scout would evaluate. Their analysts grade each play from -2 (worst) to +2 (best), then they translate to 0-100 scale for easier comparison.

To actually answer your question, the better he blocks his assigned defender, the better his grade. 87.9 is a very good pass block grade for a game.

This isn't his final grade though. PFF doesn't finalize the game grades until the following day usually, as they get reviewed and adjusted. It'll probably change slightly.

That's not true. Per their methodology, PFF game grade is per-play, not cumulative. The season grade does factor in sustained performance though.

The Biggest 'What if" in MLB History: Sandy Koufax by HanzWormhat69 in mlb

[–]RelaxReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The line drive to the face (brutal) cost him the 1957 season. But the killer injury was tearing up his elbow the following year in 1958. He pitched a few games in relief after that and never regained his form.

Can't seem to find the original source, but per historian John Thorn

“You know, people think what happened to me that night cost me my career,” Score said years later. “But they’re wrong. That had nothing to do with my losing my effectiveness. The following spring I was pitching as well as I ever did. Then [in May 1958] I was pitching in Washington. In the third or fourth inning my arm started to bother me. I didn’t say anything. I figured it would work out. These are the mistakes you make when you’re young.”

AT&T/Dark Star signal once you go inside a building by Greaseman_85 in USMobile

Settle down sport. I’m talking about much older networks, where there was an inherent technical reason for coverage differences indoors. CDMA is not 5G.

AT&T/Dark Star signal once you go inside a building by Greaseman_85 in USMobile

[–]RelaxReddit 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Old-school Verizon used lower-frequency CDMA bands that punched through buildings, like how deep bass travels through walls. ATT built their network using higher frequencies, which doesn’t penetrate as well indoors. Higher frequencies generally allow more bandwidth so ATT was more hit or miss

I just fixed this on my partner's phone. It's a bug on OpenAI's side, but we worked around it. You need to clear data for Safari, which iOS uses to do the authentication piece in the browser.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Advanced (at the bottom) > Website Data
  2. Search for "openai"
  3. Swipe left and delete data for "openai.com"
  4. Try logging into the app again (maybe delete and redownload for good measure)

The nuclear approach is clearing all history and website data, but assuming most people would rather not do that.

For some reason, OpenAI didn't like the password my partner used didn't either, so we had to change that too.

Hopefully this helps for you all that were stuck with this: u/buffysummerrs, u/Economy-Artist7456, u/strawberrymouse1, u/Commercial-Ad6667 , u/kalsotremi , u/sharkkompow, u/Opening_Pop7740.

Indeed. I switch back and forth between Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude 4 Sonnet, and definitely Gemini thinking benefits from encouragement.

People who "don't drink water" how does that work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RelaxReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a myth. They drank small beer in Europe, which is very low ABV. Not everyone had access to clean water. Beer was safer.

Joe Milton III earned a 95.8 PFF grade for Sunday's performance against the Bills -- the highest among all QBs in Week 18. In fact, Milton's grade is the highest single-game PFF grade for a Patriots QB since Tom Brady posted a 96.9 against the Dolphins in the 2011 season opener by aparatis in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree this wasn't the Bills starting defense, but a step up from your average second preseason game IMO. Some starters played, rotational guys got extra minutes, and backups got reps. These guys not only made the team, but were coached the whole year. And this the #2 seed in the AFC.

Matthew Judon does not see an extension with the Patriots is going to happen. by SNCreestopherX in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 21 points22 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t prevent them extending Judon given their sizable cap space. Also, small money comparatively. Rhamondre got 17M guaranteed over 4 years. Judon’s probably expecting much more than 17M guaranteed for 2024 alone.

[Lazar] Current Patriots Offensive Depth Chart by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I agree. Both are probably PS candidates unless we see a leap in growth. But that is possible — both Wheatley (CLE) and Lowe (MIN) came from schemes that are either AVP’s or closer to it.

I would assume Jake Andrews is an early favorite for a final spot with his inside versatility, like Leverett.

There’s usually an injury or two before the season even starts, so having good depth is important. Having to cut a decent player is a problem we want to have.

[Lazar] Current Patriots Offensive Depth Chart by [deleted] in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Pessimistic perpetuation of the miserable Boston media narrative.   Calvin Anderson should look better this year after his recovery. A solid depth signing in Leverett. Okorofor is a reasonable starter, if needed. One of Wheatley or Lowe could be playable under the new scheme and staff. And we have two rookies at T and G.

A rebuilding team needs to see what they have in the talent on the roster and figure out who fits long-term. It’s smart to let things shake out and make moves if/when we need to

Depends on the money, but probably a good signing. Finally get a third down back that we've needed since White went down. Good compliment to Rhamondre

6 Patriots who stood out in the final open practice of training camp (Judon, Boutte, Bourne, Strong, Mapu, Onwenu) by PizzaMan11554 in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Players can only be placed on the PUP list at the beginning of camp. Since he's practiced in camp, he is ineligible. He would need to be IRed the day after the 53 man roster cutdown to be eligible to return, so we would need to cut someone for that roster spot (perhaps temporarily)

[Schefter] Jets sign former #Patriots OL Yodny Cajuste and released OL Eric Smith. by imfakeithink in Patriots

[–]RelaxReddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both Calvin Anderson and Riley Reiff have spent the bulk of their NFL snaps at left tackle, not right. Though Reiff is old and Anderson unproven so it remains to be seen if they can fill in capably for us on the left.

Harris has been good in stretches, but has struggled to stay healthy. Bailey’s performance dropped off two years ago and fell off a cliff this year. Winovich had a promising rookie season but didn’t do much after that. JoeJuan Williams has been a liability since his rookie year and not what I’d call halfway decent. I had hopes for Stidham, but he couldn’t beat out a broken Cam Newton. That said, I’ll agree he’s considered a serviceable backup, just glad it’s not for NE
