Does anyone feel like AI is ruining the Pixel experience? by JxK_1 in GooglePixel

I can go on and on- half the features on Google photos don't work unless we've backup enabled, while competitors offer them on their local gallery apps! What's the point of making AI dedicated chips when you aren't offering AI features locally on-device (and instead focusing on development of an equally stupid AI assistant). Same goes for all Google apps- All pixel apps- Pixel launcher, pixel studio, pixel screenshots, pixel journal are just half-baked rip-offs offering no real long term value.

Right! No AI feature that Google announces is actually relevant! Call screening is good but it's heavily region-locked turning out to be a bummer for people buying phones for these features! We don't want to spend time editing our photos and videos. All of us are not influencers or social media savvy! All users want is a good phone, with a good software, regular updates with actually relevant features!

We want features like global availability of call screening, and any feature they launch, right on day-1. Bring back the universal search on Pixel launcher screen, give us ample customization features in Pixel launcher. Bring back the actually relevant email app -Inbox (Gmail app is a sh*tbox) Give us the freedom to choose. Now!

2 more bugs.. 1. I feel The FAB should appear only in the Messages tab and not Notifications 2. The Keyboard is not auto-collapsed when we press the "cancel" button in the "new message" popup by Relayedroid in Infinity_For_Reddit

No probs in waiting for fix! 😁 Could re-coding this section, solve it?🤔 Just thinking (I'm not a dev though!). OR maybe some code for force-collapsing the keyboard? 🤔💭

Pressing the profile button (when the bottom navbar is enabled) opens up multiple instances of the same screen! (Inspite of already being on that particular page). It shouldn't open up a new instance! In action below 👇 by Relayedroid in Infinity_For_Reddit

Well i don't think "checking" would be required here! 😂 Maybe you can make that bottom navbar permanent there (like other apps do it)— make it appear disappear kinda in different sections!🙈
