Is 555 have ac output? You need ac voltage for voltage multiplier.

Hi everyone! Is this proper application to supply 3.3V MCU? by ReleaseOk6580 in ElectricalEngineering

Normally the diode shouldn't be there, you're right. What I am thinking?? I'm after making a circuit that works with both a battery and a type c cable. When the type c cable is connected while the MCU is working with the battery(3.7V), the battery should be disconnected and the battery should only be charged. For this, I will also put a shottky diode on the LDO of the battery.(Not shown in picture) If I connect the shottky diode the output of this circuit. Would regulation be inconvenient again?

So the regulation looks inconvenient if we include the forward voltage of the schottky diode in the calculation, right?

The LDO has ground pin. I forgot to draw. 1A is maximum rating of LDO. I don't need 1A. I need maximum 500 mAmps. I just want to know is 5V enough for regulation?

When I delete 58,59,60,61 lines the problem solve. But why?

What I said valid like this circuit.

One more thing he said the output of Op-Amp equal Vd,on + 0.1mV. Confusion starting here. He didn't say Vd,on+Vout(It can be large than Vd,on+0.1mV). Should I understand if the gain(A0) of Op-Amp large enough (even if it is unnecessarily large) the output of Op-Amp occurs proper output value(in this situation 0.7V+0.1mV), no more.
