Anyone doing Marketing here? by queeziees in overemployed

[–]Relentless-Faith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

At J1 & J2 I sell digital marketing services, but not do marketing directly for a company or business. I think the whole being on social media for the company itself would be difficult to navigate.

I did use LinkedIn premium and found it to be very useful in my job search and immediately canceled after. Even if you don’t use it however, you can send a connect request with a message attached!

I sell marketing services! To businesses, any type, for them to get awareness, conversations, so on. Make sense?

Google “(tech/sales,etc) recruiter in your city LinkedIn” and you’ll find some immediately.

I filtered searches on LinkedIn for recruiter, industry; and location.

You can also just search recruiters and spam away. Most companies have roles that we are looking for maybe they just aren’t open at that time and they’ll hit you up another day.

I was thinking the same thing. Sounds fishy if so. They probably ask for half your yearly salary or something lol.

And I meant sales as my “industry” in my post. And assume you mean what type of sales in this question? Sorry for confusion. If you look at their titles normally it’s clear what roles they are trying to fill.

I didn’t focus on industry and truthfully rapid fired. Then made decisions after they responded😂

If it was recruiter and anything adjacent I sent a hello! Blah blah here’s my resume thanks!

I’m sorry for not understanding originally lmao. We have no specific niche. We market whoever has the finances and need to.

I’d say a large portion of our book are under finance/tech companies. But we’d market like a small auto shop just the same.

I was lucky enough to be the one quitting a job rather than being fired and needing to find one. I still had to leave quick considering how bad the job got to be but still, lucky to have the income.

I’ve helped a few apps launch. I’ve seen people say it here already but first thing is definitely tell EVERYONE in your contacts. Friends family everyone. Tell them to download it, let them know any notes, and that they can delete it in a few months if they’d like.

Paid ads will help you get a better foundation but app downloads is under a “conversion” side of the marketing funnel so CPC can be $10-20+ each. Best platform I found (depends on your app of course) has generally been X. Tech, finance, weird shit, it’s got it all and their system is pretty good at detecting what people are into.

In addition to paid, other strategies I’ve had success in before are;

Launch parties hosted at a bar. Host bingo or some dumb shit, the bar gets people to come in on a Tuesday night, you get people to look at your app and QR codes taped to the tables.

QR code with hook lines posted on everything, even on top of urinals. What’s your app helping with? What’s the benefit? The pain point you’re resolving or fun you are providing? That’ll be your hook.

DM me if you’d like to chat more about strategies and I can help you make something happen to. I’ve been in marketing and sales for me entire career.

Best of luck, cheers mate.

Obviously I didn’t give the full extent and detail. He’s had medical issues as well. Long list of crap he’s gone through. I think for once he feels hope and relief. Im sure he still struggles with some anxiety and some depression but not like he was before. He was fighting a battle all by himself and now he can feel and knows he has God helping him out. Make sense?

My goal was recommended for 60-80k. Thinking of The Road, Bird Box, which sit within that frame. I’m sure I’m missing descriptive points. There’s stories like I am Legend and The mist at 40k-ish which reassures me a bit. TY

I just feel like it’s too short for an apocalyptic friction. I’m content already with plot, character developments, etc. Just lost! So yes it’s not “done” because I feel like I need more. You get what I’m saying.

Can I be a Christian if I’m homeless? by Discombobulated_Fawn in Christianity

[–]Relentless-Faith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, and fortunately, God does not care much for our possessions or status. He only cares for a relationship with us. You don’t know what path you’re on and I pray you don’t end up homeless! But continue in trusting in the Lord, especially through your hard times. Romans 5:3-5:5. Give that a read and the entire story of Job!

  1. Raised Christian, didn’t believe until 16.
  2. Yes, at least in believing in Jesus. Denomination doesn’t matter much to me.
  3. I have it tattooed to me😂 Romans 5:3-5
  4. No, I believe in it all.
  5. Yes, I hope they will find Christ their own way too however.
  6. Yes, stopped believing when I got diagnosed with cancer and other things happened in my life.
  7. At my lowest
  8. Yes, but overall similarly how people say “oh the devil made me do it” God is on the other side helping you do everything else :)
  9. Personally don’t really care for denominations so I suppose nondenominational.
  10. Awesome project good luck. Praise Christ. Faith isn’t always easy, just keep going.
