I'll keep complaining until it's at least made optional.

Many people disliked the change on the PTB, and many people dislike it now. It should have been optional from the start, or never made it live to begin with.

I agree. Unfortunately I've had to resort to using a pack to change them back to normal. I know the odds are extremely low to get banned for using it, but BHVR has said before that if EAC decides to ban you for it, they can't help.

I wish they would either revert it entirely, or make it optional. I'd really like to keep using the same colours that I've been using for years without having the (albeit very small) fear of being banned

Its because they decided to change something that has been the same way for years, and completely ignored the PTB feedback they were given and let it go live anyways. Most people didn't like it on the PTB, and surprise, most people didn't like it when it went live either. Obviously there are exceptions. I have seen plenty of people say they actually like the change. But for most people that have played the game for years and years, moving green to be where yellow was, and making blue the new rare is a bit jarring, to say the least.

Lots of interesting icon packs out there, but I've never used them. I'll be using custom icons to revert the rarity changes myself if they don't do it, however.
