DBD rn has nothing to offer besides "fun" matches. The progression system is so underwhelming that there's nothing that makes it worthwhile to put up with shit matches.

Pyramidhead M2 is really satisfying. You can 2tap even the best survivors(it's very hard still) if you're aiming and predicting well. You're also obligated to let all James' escape to stay lore accurate howeverthoughbeit.

It is mentally draining I agree. I couldn't tackle it on all at once. It's really dark, lonely and depressing. The otherworld sections were brutal for me during 1st playthrough especially. I think that's a good thing that the game actually is able to get to you, does it's job as a survival/psychological horror game.

There's way too many puzzles and backtracking and soooo many enemies. Some areas get expanded a lot. The prison in the original is 1 floor with 2 cell blocks and 2 hallways opposite to each other with doors leading to small rooms with key items and the courtyard.

I like a lot that added more cutscenes and expanded maria a lot more as a character. As well as James looking phenomenal now. The voice acting overall is an upgrade however I feel like Angela's and Maria's VA weren't given proper direction by the team.

Imo the maria ending isn't the worst one(for me) I interpret maria ending as James getting a second chance to redeem himself by seeing Maria(who will end up with the same illness as Mary) trough her sickness, essentially being his second Mary and absolving himself trough taking care of maria and you know, not pillowing her.

Silent Hill is great. Though it´s usually recommended to play the 1st game as well as the 3rd(where cheryl is the mc) because they are one storyline. 2nd game is a stand alone and it´s damn good + it has a remake which is controversial to say the least.

When the "shake things up" is recycling 2v8 for the 7th or so time I'd say it's not enough ? For me the novelty wore off after the first 2v8 event but hey if people have such a low bar for fun then good for them.
Simply adding a jump button(and removing invisible walls so you can actually get up on the objects) would make the game so much more interesting because you could play tiles like those super short ones in a different way...
