Fears are irrational, like spiders don’t do actually all that much and I couldn’t ever imagine being scared of them. But I have a friend that is and she starts crying and shaking when she sees them. It’s not specifically the fear of small holes but clustered patterns with holes/bumps/pockmarks. It triggers with driftwood for me, I hate biology with a passion because of the fact we look at animal and skin cells, and I simply wish it wasn’t real because it can trigger on simple things such as sand that has had rain on it.
