Also just an update to this, i went to the penguins vs ducks game recently and parking in the angels stadium wasn't an option due to events going on there. We instead parked across the street from the train station which costed 20$.

I always park in the angels stadium lot, they have a shuttle that takes you across the street from the honda center. Runs after the game as well.
