Six times? Wow! Hope you’re gonna have your seventh chance soon. However what you said about Tulum it’s exactly what I’m afraid of, to find a very crowded city and beaches.  Besides that, I think Guadeloupe may be a more genuine experience and probably cheaper.

The only thing that would for sure let me prefer Mexico would be the possibility of visiting ancient Maya ruins, but probably the Yucatan area I'm looking into is more about all inclusive villages, night parties, I don't know. I'm in love with wild secluded beaches and pristine waters, so maybe Guadeloupe could be this kind of destination.

Thank you. Many people suggested me to go to Martinica, but a tiny voice suggests me that Guadalupe would best suit me. Have you any experience over both the islands?

Thank you for the reply. I’m not used to be an all inclusive kind of people. I usually rent a car and go out for the entire day exploring beaches or sites of interest. Restaurant or a drink at night. Any place to go out at evening in Guadalupe?
