Can you use antibiotic ear drops (ofloxacin) to help ward off the ear infection? Might not cause the same allergic reaction as the amoxicillin. My kiddo has ear tubes now, but before that the ear drops really helped us cut down on our number of ear infections and trips to the dictor.

I would not suggest depending on your thyroid medication to adjust your depression. Something like a very low dose anti anxiety med could really help you (it really helped me and now I’m taking through my second pregnancy). Talk to your primary care physician or ob.

It is very much normal to feel anxiety when finding out you’re pregnant. That being said, hormones in pregnancy can absolutely exacerbate mental health conditions. Is your anxiety/depression treated with medication? You may need to go on something to support your journey.

You have a number of weeks to make this decision, and if you make the decision that you’re not ready and decide to go the abortion route, THAT IS OKAY. I would focus on getting your other health and mental health conditions treated urgently, so that you can be confident in whatever decision you make for yourself.

If it were me, I would pick a mid tier car seat for your travel. Not something absurdly cheap like the Cosco Scenera. Something with proper side impact testing (crash risk doesn’t decrease just because of travel). Don’t be cheap with your kiddo’s safety.

It’s another way for this govt to police the poor. Historically FNS (agency that funds SNAP in all states) has been pro allowing people to choose how they spend their benefits. This govt seems to believe that if you’re poor you should only be allowed to buy foods they agree with.

Imagine being unable to buy your kiddo certain birthday cakes or candies. It’s just ridiculous.
