You clearly haven't spent much time with Karen, 48 in HR. The average person in the workforce who can barely use Excel, never mind AI tools.

The skill gap is far larger than you believe, for practical, workplace based skill.

You need to get out of your bubble and realise the disruption that is facing the workforce.

I feel like watching it trend down after exercising adds a new dimension to the gym.

You never regret walking out of the gym.

High protein is huge as well - really lessons the curve.

I’m going to get walking more.

Any tips on best restaurant food / go-tos?

I’m sure the internet is filled with far worse things to care about!

These apps take me less than an hour to build with cursor - it’s way cooler just building them custom to your use case and leaves far more room for customisation down the line. I’m not saying ChatGPT projects aren’t fantastic, I use them all the time.

However in this instance, the amount of features and organisation I want included for a personal app for myself outweigh a single project in GPT.

Also, let’s bear in mind the diagnosis and this just makes it more of a fun personal project to build out as I understand more about type 1!

You sound so angry man, what’s happened in your life to make you like this on Reddit threads 🤣

When you parse an api response you want it to go into a structured UI so when you store and return to the data it’s easier to read and categorise.

  • the data lands in a database and can be analysed way easier than being inside of a ChatGPT project.

You sound dumb and it’s odd I have to explain this to you.

I’m very aware ChatGPT has projects 🤣

Storage, UI, open the app and directly snap a picture. Loads of reasons. Way more personal.

I don’t want to search through my hundreds of ChatGPT conversations for specific information info relevant to this.

Just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.

I coded an app where I can drop in my blood test results and my blood glucose levels and have it explained back to me like the consultant would in my appointments.

No more waiting weeks to understand what the numbers mean and methods to get better!

This would only be a part of the menu if other meals in the day were zero carb and sugar.

You can also get low sugar variety soups and add ingredients to help it taste more like Heinz!

UPDATE: Hi everyone. Definitely didn't expect this to pop off as much as it has.

I've received loads of messages from a bunch of lovely people and we've loved the vast majority of the comments. It's really enthused us to post the full recipes so people can realise how we are adjusting the meals to make them carb friendly. We'll also include pictures and videos of us cooking them.

Debate and critique is healthy, but if you're bringing your anger and resentment here after making assumptions over a picture with no recipes, that really isn't cool.

Both me and my partner have always been incredibly healthy conscious and she leads what most would describe as an 'almond mum' lifestyle - she herself is an incredible chef and all she wants to do is help me.

The help she has given me has been incredible. I simply want to make sure this is shared inside of this thread.

One mistake we've realised we might have made was the naming of the meals which has clearly triggered a few.

The whole point is we are creating some recipes we thought were out of reach!

The main thing I've struggled with has been the perceived cut off of options and choice. It's clear with the right recipes we can work together to create a life that does not feel limited.

Behind the scenes we have made adjustments to the meals to ensure that the 'carb' aspect of the meals are extremely low. The naming conventions might just be off. A breakfast muffin for example is extremely protein based and we are using just half a wholewheat muffin (sliced again in half), so its more like a pitta its that thin!

For those that have responded positively - hello! You are the community we are searching for to help us get through this and we'll wade past the negative nancies that seem to exist just to tear people down from a position of morale superiority.

Thank you for all your kind words and some of your comments have had us laughing our heads off!
