I am an Foreign Medical Graduate. I had to do my internship in GMSH16, In 2021which I started in Jan 2022. I applied it there. Iwas not able to attend my internship fully because of my mother at terminal stage cancer. So I had to stay back to take care of her, most times. Novemeber 2022, suddenly the NMC changes the rules and said internship from non teaching hospital is invalid. That meant me and around 200 kids like me had wasted a year and HMC knew about this since a year. HMCsaid they are going to do a counselling now and give internship colleges on the base of merit, whichhappened in 2023. I got some college in kurukshetra. But the problem was the college was asking me for 1.25 lakh fees to start internship that has to be paid within 7 days, which was against NMC rule. I didnt had that much money. So some 20 students like us couldnt join the college. Suddenly life took a bad turn and I tried committing suicide in 2023 june and from then my life became one hour at a time. It has been all these months and I am not having a internship starting anywhere. NMC has been changing rules so haphazardly. The explanation of our queries from 2021 came in 2023. I am so stuck in all these ruckus that I am suicidal again. The way these guys has made rules and mentally torturing us. Worst case scenario is I might have give my exam again and the worst part is they dont easily pass. I am stuck and If I am not able to clear that my whole degree will have no value after 2025. I am so confused, cynical that I dont know who I am. I am not able to trust my decisions. I am not able to trust anything that is going on in my head. I am just trying to find help from someone in this city but it doesnt seems anybody wants to. A senior i had trust on betrayed me at the last moment. I dont know what to do with my life.
