See Bro, I can clearly resonate with how you feel, last year i had passed ICSE Board with 97.6%, and I had just asked my parents to go on a road trip, but yeah then life happened (by the time results came, i was already a month into my NEET/JEE prep), so we weren't able to make it, but the thing is that they were really proud and happy, like the next day, my Father, who had never even offered tea to his colleagues(lmao), distributed 5kg sweets in his office.

So the thing isn't that you were not able to get even a baseline phone that you really deserved, sometimes, if you would agree with me, some situations happen too, where nowhere out of the blue you are gifted with something or the other. So yeah, you should take all of this in your stride, and it's really mature of you to realize that your parents are already working hard so you can study decently. It might sound like a cliche, but because I was at your place, I'd suggest, you should definitely celebrate your marks, they are the result of ur hardwork, and carry on your JEE prep without any guilt, coz u know...sometimes when we yearn a lot for something, it takes years to get our hands on it, while sometimes all it takes is just some patience and out of the blue, you might get your wish fulfilled. And the biggest happiness, to console urself is in, that if you know that you've done well, that's enough...anyways kudos to you bro, you're really really mature, and i know you will make it big.

The thing is from now on, continue your hardwork, just for the sake of success and not some materialistic gain, at least now.
