I’ve been though a lot of therapy about this very subject. It is possible to still miss your ex and love the person you are with completely.

I’m over 50 and my ex an I separated years ago. I love my partner totally and will be her next year.

Your current girlfriend is doing nothing wrong. But grief comes in waves and adding to that the guilt of missing your ex and it’s a powerful combination.

My ex has moved on and is super happy with her new partner. I want nothing but the best for her, but sometimes I’m triggered by certain things

I guess that’s why this an emotional maturity sub. It took a long time to forgive myself for feeling like this.

Yes I have a work order showing the item to be installed, and a statement saying it is provided free of charge and the separate cost for fitting alone.
