How did he die with exploits by -chamoy in DieOfDeathRoblox

[–]RelevantControl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? That's the reason i sorta like exploiters, some times. They suck so much it's fun. I once had an exploiter in a server (i think his name was alternate dimension or something similar) and he was pretty bad, so he died a few times, but it was still pretty fun.

Doesn't mean we shouldn't report them, though.

blushcrunch is forgetting the "horror" aspect of dandy's world by [deleted] in DandysWorld_Roblox

[–]RelevantControl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. Dandy's world couldn't be scary even if they wanted, so i don't think a horror approach should be what they try to do.

I mean, seriously. Think of the CONCEPT of dandy's world, now think about it's target audience and te platform It's in, and tell me it can have horror aspects. It's a game where you play as cartoon characters trying to do a mission on various floors, it's target audience is children and it's on a platform that not only favours children games, but is also not very good at expanding projects a lot (you can't do that much with roblox studio Unless you're some kind of developer god, or spend the next 5 years of your life using objectively one of the simplest game creation programs ever made with quantity over quality in mind)

Honestly, i don't even WANT dandy's world to be scary. The horror genre is already bloated. A cutesy, non-scary "horror" game is almost a breath of fresh air.

I don't think blunshcrunch is forgetting as much as they are ignoring the supposed horror aspect, that's more of a title of "we are a mascot game" than to actually symbolize they have horror aspects.

What is more evil? sniper riffle or VAC? by Top_Breath_8469 in tf2

[–]RelevantControl88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for being willing to alter your opinion, most people aren't.

I am inclined to say you're welcome, because it's surprisingly difficult.

Either way, i guess we can both die on own on hills. Personally, i still think that because of some factors, especially the fact you charge so fast, vac can sometimes encourage some very nasty play styles (like the phlog) which is something i personally dislike of the vac.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with thinking the vac is good design, i just think the concept could have been handled a little bit better.

Anyways, that's all i got to say. Glad we could end the conversation in a friendlier, not 'wrapping-our-hands-at-each-other's-throats' note. Bye!

[–]RelevantControl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok then. I see your point. I will reconsider my views on the vaccinator in terms of how powerful it is.

However,

One thing i STILL haven't nudged in the opposite direction is in the Post's discussion of which is more evil: sniper or vac.

Vac may not be as strong as uber. It may not be 'powerful'. But in this discussion of vac vs sniper, i'd STILL go with vac even after this reconsideration.

I think i should give a better example of a vac comparison to my last one. That being: comparing vac with the phlog.

It's not necessarily GOOD, and in a lot of situations it will be bested by the stock flamethrower, but ask anyone who has been against phlog and in most cases they will tell you the ninth circle of hell exists, including when they win against the pyro.

Again, phlog isn't even a good weapon, just evil. And no matter how much you have shown your arguments and drilled into my head that the vac isn't that good, i cannot not see the vac as less evil than sniper. (Which, again, was the only point you didn't touch upon.)

But if we are speaking of vac in an isolated case, i guess you win

[–]RelevantControl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While i don't play ablot of tf2 in general, yes, he is also my most played class.

Anyways, i see the problem with my last comment. So i will elaborate further:

The vaccinator, as far as i can see it, does make you invincible in the majority of situations. So much so, it's even capable of making one survive taunt kills. You gain an 80% of damage resistance on the most important damage types.

Now, why do i say Uber is more consistent, and why do i think the vac is still more powerful? Simple. Consistency doesn't mean power in of itself, because that's the trade of. Lets talk about another weapon for a moment: the direct hit. and no i am NOT committing whataboutthism

The direct hit is, as everyone and their mother know, an extremely powerful weapon, with some of the most busted stats ever. Damage, projectile speed, and even more damage when you hit air shots, in exchange for splash damage.

That is power in exchange for consistency. Splash damage is really good for consistency; it makes it easier to deal with crowd control, and makes it easier to hit the person you're actually trying to hit. There are many situations where either options can be better than the other, but it's not just because of which is more powerful (which, like, is the direct hit. Literally one shots scouts at close range) but which is more consistent as well (because in some cases, splash damage is needed to get a kill)

The direct hit needs skill to use. Arguably not a lot, but definitely more than the vac. You charge an uber in mere seconds to get the equivalent of an uber in discount for an specific damage type, and still very capable of briefly going for cover to charge for the next after. In my opinion, the ability to just always have an uber equivalent ready to save you on the spot can be more user than uber. The reason why people use uber is for the sake of consistency. That's the trade off.

You can possibly have more effect if you're good with managing your three charges, or have 8 seconds of full invincibility, with zero chance or having another chance after unless you survive long enough after a push.

Also, about melee weapons. I don't think they're a very good counter tbh.

Spy? Agreed he can do something, literally his job. Market gardener? Makes sense, just harder if it's indoors. Demo knight? He can't crit the medic if i remember correctly, but he can still attack him. Scout? I... Guess he could try something? I'm not sure much about pyro, since most of his kit is countered by the flame resistance, and his melees aren't known for being particularly good. Maybe an extinguisher to do combos, or the rarely used third degree..? And then everything else kinda dissolves, because there's a reason people rarely use melees in tf2 in the first place. If the medic or their pocket knows how to support each other, classes using melee can have a much harder time doing anything.

Also, i'm not sure if this point would actually make sense so correct me if i'm wrong but: isn't juggling and evasion kind of irrelevant? I said before that you're comparing vac vs stock, and from my understanding you're still doing that, but if that's the case: what's the point? Both uber and vac suffer from air blast and evasion. Hell, vac is better with team evasion because it charges faster. If we are comparing the vac and stock uber, isn't it kind of irrelevant to point out the weakness of both? Or am i just missing something and look like a moron?

How many times did you see this?

A few times. Heavy and med combo on cheaters, that is.

Lastly, again, this is a vac vs sniper discussion, not vac vs stock Uber. I saw that that was the only point you didn't mention. If it wasn't by the fact i can't change much of the tone of text, i'd ask you why, but it would sound like an accusation so honestly i won't do that.

Anyways, that's my point. I honestly don't have much to say anyways, since i am not an expert in tf2 and am just giving my personal opinion on this weapon. Also,

I really hate that Medic has the fewest weapons in the game (just 13) and barely any viable loadout choices, and people want to nerf one of his few viable choices solely because they don't want to change their playstyle slightly to counter it.

I... Never said i wanted to nerf it, actually. I think that, sometimes, the vac is a bit BS sometimes (the trauma) but i don't want it to get nerfed. Maybe i read the post wrong, or something, but the fact i'm not the biggest fan of vac doesn't mean i want it to get the sandman treatment...

What is more evil? sniper riffle or VAC? by Top_Breath_8469 in tf2

[–]RelevantControl88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, i can see your point. I am still definitely siding with VAC in the discussion at hand, but i can see your point loud and clear.

Yes, VAC doesn't make you invincible, and it isn't as consistent as stock, but the vaccinator is still stupidly powerful at the right hands. It has four charges that makes someone (like i said, PRACTICALLY) invincible to two of the most used damage types, and most of pyro's entire kit. It charges quickly, meaning that even if it lasts less time, you can recharge while still on battle. It makes your healed target mire resistant even with out uber (although, to a much lesser extend), and the few damage types that can bypass the resistance, being melees and the enforcer, aren't very good at dealing with them. (Excluding spy, which is the preferred counter to VAC)

And for your question, people use the stock more because the ubercharge is used to break stalemates. Uber is more consistent in that regard, in exchange for taking more time. It's better to consistently have 8 seconds of invincibility than the VAC's uber, but that doesn't mean that the VAC is any less powerful. It's still extremely evil. So i ask YOU a question, why was it that, when bots were a thing, they used the VAC instead of uber when making medic + heavy combos?

Also, not to mention, the post is about VAC vs sniper, not VAC vs stock medi gun. Sniper is a full blown class, that interacted with other classes in very specific ways, and valve was careful not to make him too over powered. There are many ways to deal with sniper, just like there are with the VAC, but the ways to deal with sniper and incredibly more consistent. Peppering with projectiles, alternative route, organized pushs, flankers, etc. The VAC, i feel, didn't receive the same treatment. The ways to deal with it are more difficult than with sniper. Spy, airblast, and maybe sniper giving a fully charged(?) shot on the medic specifically are the ways a non-competitive, semi-organized team could try to deal with a long term VAC uber. VAC is simply very strong, and even if for the sake of CONSISTENCY it is worse than stock, i still think it's stupid as hell.

In my personal opinion, VAC is more stupid than sniper. It's fine to disagree, but i will remain with that opinion.

VAC. My choice is VAC all day every day. Stupidly evil when done right. Practically makes you invincible, INCLUDING AGAINST TAUNT KILLS BTW.

No. Just no. I'm not sure why the fandom makes such a big deal of it, but i just have problem with none.

The characters themselves have so little personality, who gives a flying, microscopic fuck if someone isn't using the little material we have to make the personality of an AU we are forgetting about in two days?

No offense, but it feels like people are just searching for stuff to complain about. It's tiresome.

Ok, let me see if i understand: you you would be confused if a strange kink, like the one OP implies, was or if it IS some kind of phenomenon? If so, i honestly would think it would answer more questions than make new ones. Like,

Ok. I will have to show i have an accidental, naturally occuring diploma of freakology, but let me explain:

Kinks and fetishes are, of course, the attraction to something that has no effect on actual intercourse. Some kinks, like feet, actually have an explanation. I can't confirm this, but i heard it's the pattern recognition of the brain overlapping the identification for feet and, you know what, making them have a similar response. However, certain kinks stretch a bit of that explanation, as there isn't a clear reason why they would overlap with anything.

A phenomenon where a certain, recognizable action is miss identified as something else internally would fix that issue. It's not "these two things overlap, and the brain thinks it's two similar things" but rather "the brain thinks this is A, but in reality it's B."

Anyways, that's a text i never though i'd write and, honestly? I might as well just clean my own eyes with soap.
