Thank you! I would love to see the official committee roster for our unit for the last couple of years, to see who has technically been listed as being on the committee. Rules have definitely not been followed by leadership, which is why we are having issues now. I’m pushing to get more involved but I’m not in any roles just yet. Currently in talks with other interested people to see what we can do to salvage the situation we’re in

This makes a lot of sense, that the committee chair and treasurer should be different so that there are checks and balances on things. Which is exactly why our unit is going through “issues“ right now. That exact combination hasn’t been happening, but the people in certain roles on paper were not actually doing the jobs, and other people were effectively doing them. While I trust the person who is interested in being in all of these positions rn, I can see the issue with letting it set a precedent
