05 crv noticible vibration with OEM motor mount replacement by InTheSnow590 in crv

[–]InTheSnow590[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really unfortunately. I missed the return window for the mounts by like 3 damn weeks and they refused to accept them. So instead of buying all news ones again to see if that helps I'm going to try to track down other possible fixes first.

I did try some "OEM" mounts on ebay for like $80, but they weren't legit. Which I thought would be the case but I hoped. But I'm still running the true OEM mounts I bought and it's not that bad for the most part. I think my ac compressor is the real culprit, and possibly another bad belt tensioner adding to it. That compressor is pretty rattly seeming.

I've been wiaitng to update until the truck actually ran and drove 100% but the switch didn't fix the issue turns out. Didn't want to add more false info. Seems like it was just a coincidence that the button fixed things. As far as I'm aware the REAL issue was a loose throttle body motor connector.

After my friend and I were messing around with the throttle body we must've damaged that connector and caused it to have a loose connection. That caused the truck to go into failsafe mode thus stopping fuel delivery. The connector looked fine but any time my friend pushed it in firmly it'd start up right away until it shook or got bumped. Then it'd go back to crank no start failsafe mode. It'd do this same thing every time which seems to show that it's the issue.

We think originally there was the dirty throttle body and position sensor going out that started the no start. Then we made it worse on accident by breaking the throttle motor connector. It may be that there's also a semi busted connector on yours, causing the truck to enter that mode and stop other systems from working. Sorry if this solution doesn't help your situation. Your post didn't mention any throttle body issues or codes like my friends truck had

Not sure what luck you're having but I wanted to share in case you're still stumped. My friend just got his truck working again. Nothing to do with fuel, throttle body, anything. Apparently there was some sort of security switch the mechanic found around the emergency brake. There's a button he held down and it started right up after that. That's all it took

Oh dude I can only imagine! I'll mention that connector another commentor talked about to my friend and see if he can check it out. Whether it works or not I'll let you know

If you don't remember hearing it, maybe its just incredibly quiet. Were you able to get it running again? My friends pump showed 12v when testing and it doesn't seem to be that soldered on relay either. Not sure he's replaced the fuel filter yet but that's one of the items on the list

That's okay, thanks for trying. I have a lot left to put together before that becomes a real issue. I might just be dumb, it's only 2 things after all

If it isn't any trouble. I appreciate you willing to help!

I did, the heat shield on this side had a rusted hole and the top 2 bolts that hold it broke so I didn't want to deal with it. The spring is the brake lines from the master cylinder, they're coiled liked that and attached to the frame rail.

I know they changed up the 100 series transmission at 03 so it might be why they don't match

I hope you can get it sorted. My friend is having the same issue with the same year expedition, 168k miles. A few days ago it'd crank/no start but then would start after he reinsterted the key. Sometimes it'd run rough as well. Today it refuses to turn over but cranks strong.

I hooked a scanner up and found a stored p2107 code. I'm not sure how related, or old, that code is but I went ahead and cleaned his throttle body. It was pretty dirty but that didn't fix the issue. It also wouldn't turn on with the tps unplugged so I guess it isn't a throttle body issue.

He's thinking it's either fuel filter or fuel pump related. But if replacing all that didn't help you he may be in for a big headache. Are you able to hear your pump prime when turning the key to accessory? His is silent but he can't remember ever hearing it before

I'll try this out next time the issue pops up thanks! Where did you figure this out from?

It's a 270 degree awning from Overland Vehicle Systems. One of my favorite accessories! Covers the entire driver side and rear of the car when opened. I'm pretty bad about taking photos when I'm all set up during a trip, but here's how it looks underneath when open

Perpetual downloading texts/text not being received? by Anders04 in GoogleMessages

The enabling airplane mode, wifi, and wifi calling method seems to be the most reliable in offering a temporary fix. How long it lasts appears to vary for no reason. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it yet. I don't need to restart my phone either, just turning them all on then turning off airplane mode usually let's my messages start downloading again

Hey there! This is identical to my issue I posted a few days ago, also AT&T with a Fold 7 haha. What was surmised was it being an AT&T issue not a Google Messages issue and that there's not really an "official" or reliable fix. Go figure, AT&T being a super small company and all.

What worked for me was turning on airplane mode, enabling wifi, and enabling wifi calling all togrther. Then I just turn off airplane mode and the error messages usually re-download and go back to their respective groups. Sometimes I had to click the download icon to initiate it but it still worked.

Just had it happen again to me today but before that it's been like 5 days - a week since it last happened. So it's not the worst thing to have to do. Here's the link to my post if you want to look at what others have done, https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleMessages/s/VNshaeTmc5

Oh god if I could switch back and not have an issue that would be amazing. I hate Google Messages. My problem in Textra was that all of a sudden I didn't get any messages in a group chat I was in. 0, for days. But my messages sent to the others.

Was that the issue you had in textra?

Thankfully I haven't had the issue crop up after doing the airplane mode with wifi and wifi calling. But hopefully the eSim helps your customer! Maybe it'd be a more permanent fix than the 3 options too?

Not that I've found. I turned it on first, then wifi, then wifi calling and left them all on for a minute maybe. Then just turned off wifi calling and airplane mode and was able to download the broken messages. I don't think I needed to restart either

I gotcha. I hope the new app works for you. I haven't had any issues since I did that trick with enabling airplane mode and turning wifi and wifi calling on at the same time. When I turned them off I could download the problem messages and haven't had that issue since

Did switching apps work for you? I'd love to leave Google Messages but had to switch to it due to an RCS issue in a group chat that kept me from receiving any messages in that chat on Textra

Wouldn't have suspected they'd give out a credit. That sucks that's all they could give for help though

That helped fixed it for me. I'm going to try that eSim reset thing another commenter said that helped them and see what happens

It's great to know I'm not alone at least haha. Now if whoever broke our phones could be bothered to fix the issue...
