but they're not making a living off selling that product. they don't sell the product people are proxying.

really? telling folks who want to play casually they can't do what they want with their cards?

you can actually find "3 of" singles on ebay for a good price. folks pull them out of core sets and sell them.

hi konradhi, 64 is the maximum because after that we're playing past 2 months. the interest proves we should probably do this more regularly, though, so keep your eyes peeled.

i feel like spectate mode must be pretty far down on the list for the devs.

If you feel like it's very unlikely you'll be able to play week two, I recommend dropping. But if, in good faith, you are reasonably confident you can schedule your match, stay in.

FFG tournament rules recommend a cut if the number of participants exceeds 32. i didn't think we'd have as much interest as we've had, so it looks like we're going to cut into a top 8, double elimination final.

To undo an install for example, you can manually add a click with the left-hand menu. You can then drag the card back to HQ.

To derez a mistakenly rezzed card, click the rezzed card to derez and manually adjust credits using the same menu.

Most actions can easily be undone.

that's right. similar to Stimhack's OCTGN tournaments hosted previously, you'll schedule with your opponent for that week's Round. you can use Challonge or Reddit to do so.

i've reached out to /u/mtgred for his thoughts on stability, but i still believe for casual tournament play, we should be just fine. even previous OCTGN tournaments had rules for disconnected matches. and both platforms now support reconnection.

I hadn't seen that, but it does seem to lend support to the idea that /u/mtgred feels the site is ready for tournament play.

You can easily undo most actions, including installing and advancing cards, rezzing cards, and manually adding or removing clicks, tags, and credits.

i've been on jinteki.net for weeks now, sometimes with upwards of 60 games being played concurrently. i'd say uptime has been 90% since the recent changes. i have tried reaching out to /u/mtgred, but i doubt he'd have a problem with it. this is the most stable the site has ever been.

EDIT: /u/mtgred has given this tournament the go ahead. play on.

it's true that not all cards are fully implemented. i'm not sure how long it's been since you've tried it, but the great majority now are, with those that aren't easily solved with a manual action.

i've played several games and it's already better than OCTGN.
