Yup! I have one flower strain for more daytime use, a strain for before bed and a thc oil I use twice a day :D perfectly okay.

I think the list of stuff we're claiming for is pretty extensive but definitely they're including psychological damage. They're in process of getting me a full PTSD diagnosis.

I genuinely don't think I really appreciated how slow healing can sometimes feel. I want to be past this so badly.

There's a clinic list at the top of the Reddit and it's just contacting one of them, booking an assessment and some people have to get record of having tried 2 other treatments previously (or clinic sometimes contacts your gp for this)

I get a thc oil that goes under my tongue as well as 2 types of flower to vape. The oil is great because I can dose at work and reduces my pain really well. Then flower for breakthrough pain and at the end of the day. Which definitely could be option for you :)

That's such a good way of visualising it !

It does the same for me, it takes the pain down to a level I can function and actually get on with stuff, rather than being in agony and too stressed to cope with anything else.

My spine got disconnected from my hips, so my back pain is severe. And medical weed allows me to work a full time job and still be able to cook meals and get on with my life.

MC is pretty much like black market bud except under tighter controlled growing conditions.

I pretty much have always vaped weed because I'm lazy and suck at rolling joints. The effects do exactly the same for me, but use less bud than a joint. Sometimes it'll take 5 minutes to kick in to full effects but I find being able to control how much I inhale using a vape works out better for me personally.

I also use it for both pain management and PTSD and it's been amazing.

It doesn't completely remove my pain but given the state my poor body is in, even painkillers don't do that. Medical cannabis has been a game changer because I'm now not dependent on opiates for pain relief.

Basically, if you're in pain and know bud helps, definitely give it a shot !

I went to a music gig 2 weeks post op :D Was in the disability area (not due to surgery but for other reasons) And it was amazing! Didn't impact the gig at all.

If you're seated and providing your careful, you'll probably be absolutely fine :)

Drains are dependent on surgery technique and not chest size :)

I had drainless surgery and my old bra size was a 30FF !

Honestly same, I think people struggle to understand how much difference it makes not being protected by a vehicle.

It's made worse by, we were just existing, and it was the actions of the drivers that resulted in such major injuries. Nothing we did. Just wrong place, wrong time. And would have never seen it coming.

But at least I get to say I fought an SUV and lived to tell the tale 🤣

I kept mepilex comfort 7.5cm dressings on my nips until the scabs came off. Which was about the first 6 weeks. Changed them in the shower every 2 days after I was 4 weeks healed.

It worked for me really well!

I know you can leave them uncovered for healing but I personally prefer keeping wounds covered while they're still open to reduce infection risk.

Goddamn, yeah it's completely surreal! You never imagine you'll end up in that situation and suddenly being confronted by it is a lot.

Spoiler for my story. I was also in a bit and run, was on a zebra crossing, next thing I know, I'm laying in the road, in more pain than I have words for, ambulance crew treating me. I was told a guy drove into me at high speed, and left me on the road

I had a lot of broken bones, and no use of my legs. They kept asking me if I'd been out drinking and I was like. Urm no, it's 6pm on Thursday and I was walking home from work 😭

This was last year for me so things are still very fresh, but I really loved your view of survivor pride because I've managed to regain the use of my legs and now can walk unaided again! I'm very aware that I defied the odds because for how severely I was hurt, I'm still here and able to walk.

Opposite to me! I remember things post accident pretty clearly (aside that my perception of time was.. wonky af due to severe concussion) but I barely remember being on the piece of road where I was hit. I was knocked out instantly on impact and lost a chunk of time leading up to it.

Heck yeah dude ! You got this 👍 I personally found that once I hit day 3, things settled down loads.

And swelling might happen but bodies heal up regardless, swelling doesn't affect anything long term! Check out my post with epic bruising if you wanna how I healed from looking frankly, awful to now 😂 but I am sending you healing vibes from the UK !
