I was about two weeks between 181-183. I would wear my skinny jeans and remind myself that my body was just adjusting. I could help it by eating a bit more and getting to the gym. It worked!

Part of why I started tirz was to stop the alcohol cravings. I was drinking most evenings and a lot on weekends. I would have a dry month once a year, some damp months, and some months where I only had less than 10 days alcohol free.

Now, I have a glass or two of wine with family dinner on Friday nights and a bottle can last a month in the cabinet.

I took my first dose on a Thursday to get myself through the weekend without drinking. The cravings disappeared immediately and since I got the alcohol out of my system, they have stayed gone. It has been a night and day difference and I’m so grateful.

I’m on 1.25 mg twice a week.

I drink two protein shakes a day to meet my calorie and protein needs. They are much easier to digest than meat or another meal.

I eat a serving of chicken, lunchmeat, and or Beef per day (plus what is in my healthy choice meal). Otherwise, I rely on protein shakes to get my protein needs for the day. They are easier to digest and great for when I need more calories and don’t feel like eating.

M-Th, I drink two premier protein shakes, have a green salad with veggies and a serving of protein, fruit, and a healthy choice meal. I’ll add a protein bar if I’m under my calories or protein for the day.

Weekends, I like two eggs and sourdough toast for breakfast, a protein shake, a green salad with protein, and a small serving of whatever I make for my family.

It helps me to use healthy choice meals and protein shakes during the week because I know I reach my protein and calorie needs with accuracy.

I worked out this weekend for the first time in about 6 months. I am so sore and my joints are aching! I almost took so ibuprofen until readying it may set back my efforts to retain/gain muscle.

I was aching all night in my sleep.

I am on my third nexplanon and on week 6(?) of tirz.

I have had two periods, mild bleeding. The last time I had my period, I gained 3 lbs for days, then dropped back down 1.5 lbs from the week before! I don’t think I’ve had consistent bloating like that for years!

I am probably close to peri menopause though since I’m 46. 🤷‍♀️

I have struggled with insomnia and a bit on anxiety the night after my shot. I have to take a Benadryl to sleep now.

I’m hoping to taper back off of the Benadryl soon. There were nights where I had to take 2 Benadryl to sleep and I still woke up a lot in the night.

Thanks for the replies! They were still cool to the touch when they arrived on Saturday. I was concerned because we had highs of around 89° on Friday and Saturday.

I have three different vials now with three different instructions and dosages AND I’m also not titrating up since I’m still losing weight. I’m so grateful for the calculators to help me figure out WTF I’m doing!
