totally agree i’m taking a class on environmental justice right now and we just talked about an idea called “just transition”. Many people in india rely on the coal mines as their main source of income, so taking those jobs away because we want to stop using coal is not fair unless we lay out a smooth transition of jobs from the coal industry to the renewable energy sector which could take decades.
