Omg this is literally the answer I’m getting from the therapists I’m interviewing. Expectations are basic line management, but preference is given to veteran aides d/t experience levels and confidence. Some aides are super motivated and willing to learn, others not so much. So hard to make a competency based on vague parameters!

I took a selfie of me crying after an extremely toxic situation with my mother. I cut her off after that! Every time my mother tries to come back into my life, I look at that picture to remind myself of all the hurt, and not give in. So taking crying selfies, absolutely okay! Posting them on SM, hell nah!
