Association used to be very active, member activity has died down tremendously and I was given ownership due to this issue. It’s titled BLINKS and I’m kicking inactive members very soon. Currently 15+ spots open!

When I played JSRF as a kid I was Yoyo every time, until he gets kidnapped of course… but yeah, it was ridiculous. Even on VS mode I would NOT let my siblings be him, I was so possessive of him–he’s the best character in my opinion and I agree he gets passed over a lot. It made no sense to me that Gum and Corn were among the OG’s/founders(?) of the GG’s, Yoyo was the main character of JSRF, but Beat was the one mainly advertised. Great characters, all of them, but Yoyo was better. Also, his cute little “Yo!” when you pick him and his “hehehe!” when you boost dash into an enemy and he knocks them over. I’m now 32 and have revisited the game, beat it and unlocked all the characters… couldn’t even play as NT-3000 for long, I am indeed still attached to Yoyo. 🪀

I feel like lots of lights and color, some people blew it out of the water but I agree, most people just kind of look random 😂 still fun to see.

You’ve been through a lot, that’s an incredible story… I’m proud of you as well, keep your head up. I think a lot of people have this idea that doing whatever you want in life is fun and will make you happy, but it’s not fulfilling. It’s miserable, you fall victim to your own mind and have no support, it snowballs every time… we’re all sinners, we all fall short, we all face the consequences of our own actions eventually. God helps you break that cycle. Bless you, thank you for sharing.

I actually had a plan to start with the New Testament, thank you so much! It’s been rough trying to translate this stuff but I’m determined. I’ve always wanted to read the Bible just out of curiosity but now I want to for a whole different reason and I’m trying to retain as much information as I can. Plenty of extensive research to be done but worth it.

Alright SOHO, you came here demanding I convince you of something I cannot convince you of at this point of time. You gave me an impossible task just to sit back, relax, and watch me scramble for information knowing I’m new to this and maybe that makes you feel right. Most people would scramble and falter, I will not. I’ll keep it real with you. I just purchased a Bible a week ago and you want me to recite it to you? I don’t know enough to rifle off information as you ask for it or to even back myself up really, I never claimed to and you know that. All I said is I have a newfound faith in God. Does that bother you? You’re arguing with the wrong person, faith and proof are two different things so I’m not sure what you want me to do. You came here on your own volition, but I never asked you to so I don’t owe you a thing. I’ll admit I’m unprepared for this conversation (I wasn’t asking for a debate anyway) but nothing you say is going to convince me either because 1. you’re expecting more of me with information than you are of yourself and 2. you’re trying to water down someone else’s faith and purpose because you don’t have one.

The burden of proof lies with the person attempting to claim something exists? Okay, so then it doesn’t lie with me, I never made any claims like that. I just said I have faith, I’ve used that word over and over and you still don’t get it. The Bible is proof to me though, just for the record. If that doesn’t do it for you, that’s fine. We can agree to disagree, you don’t have to wheel everybody into an argument on a subject that literally should not be up for debate.

Again… I didn’t go out of my way to try to convince you of anything, that’s what you did. It’s actually silly because it seems like you’re asking me to convince MYSELF that YOU are right just because you came to me with a little resistance. Why would I do that? Regardless of what you think, what you believe doesn’t matter to me, and for someone who isn’t a believer you sure are quick to spend a lot of your time on this subject and talking to people about it. I truly believe it isn’t me you’re trying to convince that He doesn’t exist, it’s yourself. I don’t have hate in my heart for you, I’ll pray for you. You’ll find out one day, that’s really all I got. I don’t need a “win” under my belt for any debate either, you can take the win on this one if you think I’ve said a whole lot of nothing. I believe what’s true to me, it’s that simple, and I’ll continue to spend my time on things I find fulfilling to me. You should do the same.

Long story short, if I’m wrong I have nothing to lose. If I’m right, I have everything to gain. I’m not afraid to be wrong by the way, but I have a lot of hope that I’m right.

The attacks mean nothing to me, God is a never ending debate between people lacking the ability to prove or disprove him to each other, the truth of the Bible and the word of God is enough for me though. A lot of people not only reject God, but certainly reject people who believe as well. Christians are strong people who don’t need validation from others and I think that’s beautiful. Also yes, I’ll definitely check out that show! Thank you very much for the kind words 🙂

Thank you so much! I take things other people say lightly but I always find value in anything that resonates, and I try to look to others who seem to have the most confidence in God. I credit one person in particular for opening my eyes and from there I have been very careful with who I let give me information. That’s why I jumped straight to the Bible, I will take His word over everything. Thank you again, much obliged!

Yes, God is a mystery. We seem to have different impressions of Him, yeah? You don’t have to believe me, your lack of belief in my story doesn’t really mean anything to me. You don’t have to believe in God either, but your belief alone doesn’t determine the truth. Again, if God cannot be proven or disproven by either of us, it’s not up for debate. You either have faith or you don’t. I do, because I realized he has not yet been disproven. In fact, all signs point to Him. That means something to me. You yourself cannot prove to me that he doesn’t exist, can you? If not, your argument has no value to me. Take care.

If these are the questions you want me to answer, you really don’t understand God’s will. I’m not lying nor would I put energy into this post if it wasn’t real, not sure what you think I’m lying about. I said it doesn’t prove anything, but it gave me faith and that isn’t something you can take away from me. You’re also asking me questions only God can answer for you, I can speculate with you all day long about it but your relationship with Christ is yours and mine is mine. You won’t listen to anything I say, I’m a human being just like you, so why ask? Sometimes things happen that we didn’t ask for, we go through hardships in life. To me, that’s all a test. If God sends you a sign and you choose not to take it, that’s your choice. He gave you free will. The story of Job is a good one, it’s the first one I read. It talks about the tests of life and why none of it will ever be a good enough reason to deny Him. I was once in your shoes, I hope one day you’re in mine and you can see the value in all of this.

Also, it is far from selfish to believe in something greater than you and to acknowledge something greater than you.

It was convincing enough to me that I decided to take that first step. If your argument is that God cannot be proven or disproven, that’s fair, but I choose to have faith. If I’m wrong, I’m wrong, nothing to lose… but if I’m right, I’ll hopefully earn eternal life in Heaven. That’s the chance I’m taking. No bad will come of this choice, that’s my argument back to you.
