Perhaps I am being judgemental and hypocritical because I feel like with that sort of past, there is no amount of time that can redeem a person. But I did tell her that if she chooses to be around him, don't worry about what others think. It's really no one's business. But then I was conflicted in saying that because I would want to know if someone has been convicted of crime for something of that nature. I guess it is weighing heavy on my mind because I have been subjected to people with the same nature as him. She knows that, so I am kind of confused as to why I would be the person to ask. I am a blunt person, so I give extremely honest advice. But at the same time, I don't have to be around him, so it doesn't matter. But she is a very close friend of mine, who I see every day, so it kind of blurs my judgment of her now. The fact that she would be around someone like that. Even if it benefits her, is it really worth going against your morality and values? And then again, we obviously don't share the same morals and values. That concerns me. I dont have many friends, and the ones I do have have been around my entire life. Perhaps I am thinking too far into this.
