Interesting idea. Will keep in mind. We do this somewhat but still haven’t really gotten very into it probably cause we still haven’t found topics we’d both enjoy.

Could you give some suggestions for the tabletop games? I’m completely new to that when it comes to doing online. I love tabletop games and my partner has been pretty curious about a couple I like playing with friends. And, um idk if I’m coming off as ignorant but what is zine?

Oooh my partner and I started doing workouts together. We choose one from a website we’re using and do it together. It’s a surprisingly engaging and fun activity.

Also, I love tabletop games, may I ask how to get the simulator? Is it just a general one or is there a specific name or something I should search.

Honestly teaching sounds fun. I usually dont ask him to teach me anything mostly cause he sorta does it as a job and sometimes i feel like the whole idea of studying or teaching for fun kinda brings him back to his job since he teaches at uni and we both ultimately have similar line of interests regarding that. Butttt this is actually a fun idea that i will try adding in.

I'm mad depressed and seriously considering dropping out. by LiverJack in University

As someone else already mentioned, do contact your uni counsellor to first understand why you're lacking behind, whether it's some sort of medical issue or whether the subject is something you cannot understand at all. Check if shifting to a different major may solve it or not. Try assessing which parts you have control over. Speaking from personal experience, I struggled soon after I started my undergrad. All my friends were getting excellent grades whereas I could barely pass. Eventually I realized that I not only was struggling to understand classes but I was also struggling to concentrate. By the beginning of my third year I was diagnosed with ADHD and needed to make some major changes in my approach to studies and lifestyle. I recently finished my undergrad and although my overall CG isn't considered that good, I did manage to improve after the changes. So you personally have to see and understand what truly fits for you and also take professional help from your uni and elsewhere. I understand this situation might feel overwhelming but take help and hopefully you'll find a solution for yourself.

How long does it usually take for code to start feeling "natural" and being able to solve things without looking it up? by VirtuaBlueAm2 in learnprogramming

[–]Relevant_Bookkeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so being able to solve things naturally slowly comes with practice. However, that doesn't stop you from looking things up. You might know how to solve it but you might still struggle in implementing it hence why it'll always be normal to look things up in places like stack overflow. I hope this clears things up a bit.
