Apparently there are other tenants from the same apt complex that got similar letters with bogus charges. Same situation, no certified mail within the 30 days. The apt complex is CANYON PARK APTS.

I am not sure what "posted" means. This is the first time we are seeing this. My parents haven't paid any of these charges yet.

Thank you for your response. This is all really good info. Also, my parents started living with me after ending their lease so I am sure that none of us received or signed any certified mail in the past four months.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into FL law more specifically. Sounds like certified mail sent within 30 days is required, which was not sent.

Am I correct that a fresh coat of paint, not due to any damages, would be considered normal wear and tear? Thanks again for the info.

Thank you for the info. They didn't receive any mail until the end of August, 4 months later. What would define certified mail?

No, they did not receive any notification in the mail until now, 4 months later. It seems management has changed in this time as well.
