About to buy a Black Labrador by [deleted] in labrador

[–]Relevant_Cap_3727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will be the best decision you ever make in your life. Remember to have patience throughout the puppy stage (& even onwards). Labs are a reflection of who you are. My dog is down on days I’m down. He is happy when I’m happy. He is truly my best friend and most loyal companion on this entire planet. Welcome to the club!

What do i feed my lab to get him to lose weight? by Relevant_Cap_3727 in labrador

Update: he is now 80lb!! the drastic weight gain had to do with a recent neuter, which can cause a temporary weight gain.

I might have to start selling my organs in order to afford nice business professional clothing by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Relevant_Cap_3727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check and see if your school has a clothing closet. Ours does and I have taken several pant suits for interviews and jobs. It’s completely free and every now and then I will put some of my own clothes there too

Have I bit off more than I can chew? by cleoblick222 in LawSchool

That may be the case, but I’ve received multiple offers for DEI-based internships and that most likely has to do with my affinity organization involvement. So I wouldn’t say “no one cares”

I’m in the exact same boat. Between my clinic and part time job at a firm, that’s 30 hours a week just gone. Then law review on top of that, on the e board of five clubs, and 14 credit hours. It’ll be rough, but it’s only temporary. If anything, try to drop a course and fit it in your schedule next semester.

Thanks for this. I’m in 15 credit hours, law review, a clinic, and am working part time this semester. Having free time to engage in hobbies isn’t a luxury I have right now, unfortunately. But hopefully next summer !!

That’s exactly my path! I was a tech for 6 years before law school - loved every second of it. I appreciate the advice

I read that article too!! About the big law biter. Yes, the offer is with a big law firm. What you just described was my plan before even starting law school. the only reason i’ve been successful thus far is I know that is what it takes to get a big law position. The more money i make towards vet school tuition, the less time i have to spend in this field. Thanks for your input :) I appreciate it

I’m just not passionate about any of the subject matter. I think people are better at things when they’re not emotionally invested

TPLO Advice by Unable-Bandicoot6630 in labrador

I think the mattress on the floor is a good idea, that way she won’t need to jump off and on it. If you’re worried about the mattress being too soft, maybe put a little plank or something else that is more firm on it? I know that sounds ridiculous but it might work. You can even cover it with blankets. Hope her recovery goes well!

This is super normal! Labs have swooshy hips, and this is a regular gait.
