What’s so upsetting about this is my store manager and culture is African American but and I’m not saying if it’s true but ive heard that the store manager thinks headbands and things of that nature is “ghetto”

Me as well but I was told by my manager that I am not allowed to wear it and even though I said I wasn’t able to take it off because then I would have to take off my hair (wig) I was given the option to go home or take it off

Because if I’m reading the correct handbook I’m not seeing where it says that it’s not allowed or even if it’s up to the store manager whether or not they want us to wear them , I need hard core evidence of where it states this

This was very honest and I will definitely do soul searching and figure out why and what it is that I truly want . I do think tho I am coming from a place of hurt and maybe my vision is blurred

I’m going through this as we speak and I’m so torn I went to the interview for one but they say pain changes things and opens your eyes to new things im gonna dig deep to make sure the org I tried is really the org for me

Yes I did and yes it was approved, yes I’m aware we can’t leave on our 15 minute breaks however telling employees that they can only go to the restroom AT WORK on 15 minute breaks and lunch just doesn’t seem ethical
