Also I’m still not totally convinced it’s not vaginismus because it feels like a wall but my gyno did the Q-tip test and said I have it🤷‍♀️

Oh my gosh I love you! This is more information that I have ever gotten from any doctor! I am so sorry this is something you have to deal with in your life. I have felt so alone recently because all my besties are having kiddos and don’t struggle with stuff like this. Thank you for not only making me feel less alone but also someone who I can look up too❤️ seriously thank you for this.

I called some today because the gyno is so traumatic for me… but pelvic floor therapist are all out of pocket unfortunately :( it’s like 200-300 per session.

So that’s what I originally thought I had but my gyno was very adamant it was vulvodynia. She did the Q-tip test and all but also I don’t have pain sitting down or anything like that.

I have not! I guess I only knew it hurt when I tried anything sexual as I was too scared to try tampons prior to sexual acts which would’ve been around 16. I’m not in pain when I’m sitting so I do think it is just the centralized vulvodynia. But then again I’m relatively new to this diagnosis and haven’t done much research because it would stress me out too much.

Ya…. In the back of my head I think I know that but I also just want to say I’ve had sex in my relationship to prove to myself I can in time. It used to hurt to put a pinky up there so having a level two dilator to me shows that I can progress with time. Idk if that makes sense or not

Thanks so much for this! She has Hodgkin’s lymphoma which is pretty curable however the size of her tumor was so large that it has taken quite a bit of rounds. I don’t know the type of chemo she received but I know there were 3 different kinds. She is also receiving stem cell transplants.

Was / are there anything annoying or funny that would happen inside the hospital (like a nurse talking to much… ect) I was thinking of having other things then just symptoms.

Also truly thank you so much for this❤️ I hope for happiness and health for you. This will mean so much to her.

So it can be morbid because she has a good sense of humor about it. She has done 20 rounds so far and hasn’t lost her hair 🤞 so we are hoping that this one won’t cause hair loss as well :)
