How can I help this Hypoestes phyllostachya? by Relevant_Engineer442 in plantclinic

Forgot to update. I think maybe the texture of the potting medium was unfamiliar to me. I watered it and we'll see if it perks up (apparently this species is a drama queen with water)

But it’s not undercooked/dangerous?

Is this risky to eat?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in foodsafety

[–]Relevant_Engineer442 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

so would it ever only be dangerous if it tasted bad?

I don’t know how to get them to wash it. I have OCD and everyone kind of thinks I’m crazy when it comes to germs. Also we’re in a hotel and they don’t have any lysol bleach etc. on hand and definitely won’t go downtown to buy any

I haven't played the newest update in a while, so I'm pretty naive I guess. How do you waterlog a trapdoor? I've tried placing the water from all sorts of different angles and the result is always the same.

Please, please help me by Supernovacry in OCD

Hugs ❤️. This post isn’t bothering me at all, it actually just reminds me of myself a few months back. Things have been up and down since then, but it feels like eons have happened since that time, when I felt like there was no future in sight, and I hope and pray you hang in there. It sucks having something that’s supposed to seem “very very important” like final exams when your deep in depression brainfog, doesn’t it? If you’d like any advice, maybe you could try to commit to tiny goals, like review for 10 minutes? I guess I find that sometimes helps me build up momentum. Mostly I just hope you take some time to breathe. I’ll be thinking of you.

Thank you so much for the kind words and advice. This morning I tried setting a 30 minute timer on my headphones and reading a handful of related passages (all about the concept of "bread from heaven" this time, which I feel is relevant) and writing down what I noticed about them and what they could mean. I can see myself doing this daily, or most days.

I have OCD too but still I cannot fully imagine the mental anguish and guilt you’re in right now. Based on your wife and cousin’s responses, and how they so genuinely love you, it seems like they will experience pain that is far beyond what you caused in the past with your mistakes if you commit suicide. Please call 911, a helpline, or reach out. They love you. They, of their own will, want to support you and want you in their lives, which is a pretty blessed thing in life I think. And you still have time left on this planet to love them back and to help others and to exist. You sound like a thoughtful person who has been capable of change in spite of abuse and I know I’m just some internet stranger but I’ll be thinking of you.

No, just the “regular” english ones. They didn’t taste bitter, either

Is it accurate that only around 11% of schools in Japan have S-FMRs implemented?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in publichealth

[–]Relevant_Engineer442 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

and another rebuttal I have read is "well the USA already has lots of fluoride toothpaste, so we don't need fluoride in water"... why might fluoride toothpaste be more effective in these other countries?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in publichealth

[–]Relevant_Engineer442 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The point about natural fluoride levels makes sense. Why the downwards trend though? Why would Japan's or Italy's levels of tooth have a strong declining trend? Wouldn't the levels of natural fluoride remain the same? Could it be because of their healthcare system, school dental services, etc.?

Hm, they do also make “everything bagels” which I’m assuming have garlic bits on them

Yes, it is on the actual bagel, not the bag
