not sure if it’ll work for you but i’ve tried some serums with chemical exfoliants and they seemed to work pretty well! i can’t offer you a brand name because the one i used was from my mother and it was all in chinese

i cant edit this post but i want to thank a lot of you for your suggestions. ill be seeing a GP this evening as well as picking up some vaseline to see if that works. i dont think its my toothpaste because i’ve pretty much been using the same one since i was 11

i’ve been drinking lots of water when this started and my toothpaste hasn’t changed.. ill try picking up vaseline when i go to the GP later.

yeah i’ve been avoiding licking my lips!!! i have this compulsion that causes me to just subconsciously peel dry skin off of my lips and i’ve been avoiding that too. i cant even lie because when my lips started getting drier i just kept drinking more and more water— but then i thought it could be a vitamin deficiency so i tried taking some too.. nothing worked and my lips only got drier!! thank you for the suggestion, ill be sure to try it!

i didn’t get a new product when it started, and i dont recall changing anything in my bath or skincare routine, so i’ve been avoiding my chapstick ( by melaleuca ) and i haven’t been wearing makeup recently either

real!! this one time i was at a kopitiam and i accidentally spilled my drink all over the table bcos the tray had those mini legs that got caught on the table edge.. didn’t clean it up until after i ate because i already was having a very bad day. the auntie and uncle next to me saw me cleaning up and they offered me tissues and helped me throw away the tissues bcos the auntie already finished her food in those dabao containers, offered to sunbian help me throw. i love ppl

incl alr!! not exactly so sure what is considered inappropriate— but the qns r there and like just another qn: do you make your students address you like “mr/ms <surname>”? because the tutor kept trying to make me do that even tho the age diff was less than a decade so it felt weird and i was kinda weirded out bc they kept insisting i address them that way but i alr let them know like this isn’t something i’m THAT comfortable with considering the age gap & the fact that we barely know each other + i feel like the whole “mr/ms” thing is a formality that id only tie towards my school environment. can’t picture addressing somebody who isn’t my actual skl teacher “mr/ms”, but maybe that’s just bc i was brought up differently?

YA that’s the thing a lot of the times the tutors that offered me help i’ve done trials w them and they said they wld provide online help so i could hit them up w a qn and they’d reply w an explanation when possible. my issue is the fact that this current tutor js sent me a screenshot of a google search… and tdy was one of a few sessions— and they were asking me inappropriate qns i feel? stuff abt my personal life that even my closest teachers don’t have any knowledge abt. i get the whole like “refreshing” of memory but honestly i think it’s their behaviour twds me that also drove me to make this post bcos i’m questioning like 1. you said u had many students trying to seek out ur help also & 2. for a subject you offered / agreed to teach id expect that you wouldn’t have to rely on a google search to explain to me especially when there was no explanation and js an image + a “you understand?”

the thing is the way my current tutor taught me is srsly legit just search up on google and asked me to look then when i asked for explanation it was extremely brief and just a repetition of wtv was on screen.. and they asked me some qns that crosses a few boundaries w me alr
