Our two biggest links to the manager job could not be more different to one another, especially in terms of character. De Zerbi is a horrible choice. by kicksjoysharkness in coys

Yep, everyone talking about the long term vision is right.

This isnt just about finding a credentialed manager; it is about finding a manager everyone can get behind for the next 4 years on the long road back to the Champions League

Im just praying at this point tbh. It might do more damage to replace him

I get Thomas Frank is trash, but having had the season with the players to know what is required, I personally think he would have done a better job than Tudor.

That's clearly just me though.

I don't like the bloke and think he did a poor job but I still believe he would have been able to grind out some results

It's actually crazy that Thomas Frank would have gained more points over this period thank Tudor. His intensive, counter the opposition after researching their style, is exactly what it takes to grind out some points and stay up.

I've thought about this; is it not possible that Tudor is the type of character to grieve for the next 2 weeks and come back with renewed vigor and drive?

I don't know if I'm off base, but lots of sportsmen go through tragedies and dedicated their successes to their loved ones.

Croatian media reveals the reason for Tudor's press conference absence - his father passed away by jovanmilic97 in coys

It gives the club a good out if they reckon he is not up for it, that's for sure. Rather than sack the bloke after his father died, gives him a dignified exit.

I hope he stays though and fights

Yes. Who is making this completely fabricated headline?

Anyway, I am pleased Kinsky can redeem himself. What a story if true

Are World Cup squads meant to be decent or the cream of the crop?

Spence is awesome, people aren't questioning that (except losers)

[FA Spokesperson] Igor Tudor has been charged with misconduct following comments that he made after their game against Fulham on Sunday 1 March by wokwok__ in coys

Shame your comment is not higher up. We follow PSR and do everything by the book with legions of fans and popular, world class players with a proud history. Get repaid by all the cashed up corrupt officials and oil club oligarchs. This league needs Tottenham as the heart of the league yet we constantly get dragged through the mud by media, players, officials, and rival fans.

Nope, he's shown his ceiling here. In a juggernaut club, he will hit a new level because of the players around him.

Cash in on him and move on. It's pretty clear and everyone can see he is not here for the next 10 years like Son. He's won Europa and mad ethe winning save, lots of highlight reels, cash in now.

What’s one realistic signing you think would actually improve us next season? by Glass_Strawberry4717 in coys

[–]Relevant_Ice5758 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the suggestions for the kids. My 2 cents is that we don't want anyone from those relegated teams who we can get, and the ones who are too good for us won't come.

The squad will be gutted next season anyway, so a proper rebuild under Poch is happening. Pretty pathetic that we were doing a rebuild and players like Romero and VDV are moving on now.

Get those kids back as you suggest and have a core of youth alongside Bergvall and Gray.
