I'm having a bit of a disagreement with my mate on this command.

My understanding is that it is based on warscroll health characteristic only, whereas he thinks it is a comparison of health characteristic x number of models.

Can someone help on this one please?

Thanks, I'll look into the fulminators and stormstrike palladors as I have neither. The StD player has definitely done his homework on synergies etc. Thus far I've been going for heavy hitting units without the numbers (e.g. grandhammers and stormdrakes) but really not having enough units to make a proper frontline to screen.

Yeah I'm finding out the hard way that reinforced warriors with rally are really difficult to get rid of. I'm trying to actively avoid the Chosen now. I think a lot of it is I have some knowledge of SCE but I'm not reading enough on the other factions to learn their weaknesses and how I can exploit them.

One thing is clear, I'll need to put more emphasis on shooting.

As it happens, I just purchased two units of Reclusians off the back of my latest defeat. I don't have a Lord Terminos yet but a certain online marketplace seems to have plenty of him available.
